The mods work voluntarily to ensure the security and safety of the site users, so these, and new people can interact with other likeminded people who enjoy the 'scene'.
Do people realise how difficult it is to end up being removed from a swing site? IF a user becomes abusive, threatening or vindictive in a manner to cause stress or discomfort to other users they will be not be welcomed, that is non negotiable. People who venture in to this, find it nerve wrecking enough without having to deal with it prior to any private arrangements they may, or may not, make.
Most, (if not all), the people who use this site do not want to have their private lives flaunted to all and sundry.
The scene itself is large and varied, and just because someone catches your eye, it is no guarantee that you will end up sharing the same chemistry or be what you/they are looking for. At times like that it is probably best to move your interests elsewhere.
Recent events have shown that there is a very small minority that think nothing of putting 00s of peoples private lives at risk by revealing details of what was a social gathering where these likeminded people could meet and either make new friends or enjoy the company of friends they have known through this scene.
As a mod on this site, and i'm 100% certain that all the other mods think the same, we will ensure that those genuine people that are using this site, their private details will remain private and if a user is being threatened or abused by other user/s steps will be taken to have them removed.
Those that act like adults will be treated accordingly, those that are under the illusion they can be immature and childish, sorry but this isn't a creche.

Mods - Are They Needed?
Very well said! And as a newbie myself this is very comforting to know. The swinging scene with the right people and those who act like adults can be very enjoyable. Unfortunatly it can take one person to ruin that expeirence and given how private this lifestyle is it can be difficult I.e. Who to turn too when things go wrong, get scary or uncomfortable. So I have to applaude you on the work you do an especially for giving your free time to ensure everyone enjoys their own expeierence!

I am speaking as a member not a moderator, just to say - when I joined this site initially I never knew what a site moderator was, having come from another site with no moderators on board, the chat-room there was terrible especially when members felt it was cool to sling abuse at others etc and get away with it...
And when I found out what moderators did for the site and how helpful they were towards me (a newbie) Titan was the first moderator I chatted to and was very helpful and welcoming especially in chat.
So in answer to your question with no doubt in my mind, yes Mods are needed 100% and they do a great job.:thumbup:

Mods are definitely needed on here. I was online after midnight last night when a user was openly giving out details of who they were meeting tonight. They were asked to stop repeatedly by the mod who was in the room at the time, but alas the person in question kept on saying who they were meeting. I chat to the person who was being mentioned most days, so I asked the chatter to stop mentioning their name in public, but I was also ignored, only for the chatter to keep mentioning the name repeatedly. I can say with 99% certainty that the person being mentioned would not have liked that the chatter was openly broadcasting details about them in public.
Discretion is paramount in this game, and we would never boast or post about meetings with people regardless if we had their authorisation to do so or not.
So yes mods are definitely needed, they watch out for bullying, harrassment and unwanted advances by people who have already been told no. Respect for mods is definitely due by us all, for we have to remember that they are on here to have fun as well, and they usually can only have fun once their workload on here is lightened.
Yes, I totally agree. Mods are a necessity for the smooth running of this fantastic site that provides so much enjoyment for us, the members. I too thank you all mods, most sincerely for the selfless, thankless, difficult task you do. Thanks a million; it is really, really appreciated

We totally agree with baileys Mods are the people that reduce some of the risks for people on the site. Without Mods anyone can do what they like and say what they like to people and go unchallenged. In light of recent events that put a lot of people at risk mods are definetly required. Most people are on this site to enjoy other people and have fun but as always there are some who because they dont like somthing they try destroy for others. So for any one who thinks mods arent required just think about them next time somone is harassing you or being a pest and you ask for a whisper to ask for their help. The mods are there to help and we for one think without mods the cancel account button would be very tempting.:taz:

A question needed to be asked is do Mods provide value for their effort. The answer as far as i am concerned is Totally YES.
Why??? well....
Without mods there would be total disarray in the forums and chat-rooms,
Mods make welcome and try to assist newbies integrate into the site and try to point them in the right direction when newbies break rules that they may not have been aware of.
Mods are always involved in chat and don't turn away a stranger in open chat just cause they have not engaged with them before.
Mods are always jumping to the defence of users who may get rude / improper remarks from others.
Mods are lovely 
Mods deal with large amounts of grief in open chat and forums in order to try and maintain and run a fair site.
Mods deal with large amounts of grief in whispers and Pm's that regular users will not be aware of.
Mods don't run their mouths off when they ( could and in some situations should do so in order to highlight someones ignorance towards them)
Mods time on site is taken up with behind the scene work that we the ordinary users don't see.
I believe that Mods should start to get tougher when dealing with ejits / dumb-ass / trouble makers / sh1t stirrers and completely ignorant f e ckers who actually enjoy wasting their own money,
Mods time and and regular coherent members enjoyment of the site.
The site AUPs are clearly listed and simple as it may sound, users who breach them should be ruled by them , then there should be no quibble. And any mod bashing should not be tolerated. If Mods are as bad as some users would like us to believe then there wouldn't be such an active membership.
As far as users trying or attempting to make public, other Members true identity's. well they should be hung drawn and quartered. Peoples privacy is just that.

In most cases, the mods will check cams to ensure they are working properly, but also to ensure that no rules are being broken, i.e. children, animals, recreational drugs do not appear on their cams, but no doubt there are a number of mods (they are swingers after all) that do view cams for personal reasons, doesn't everyone? ;)
