Thanks for bringing these bugs / faults to our attention. I suspect the invite 'accept' issue is a browser compatibility problem (I bet it's Internet Explorer 8 or lower) because it doesn't happen for everyone. However I've passed them onto the technical team to investigate and resolve. Thanks, Griff.
Hi, Normal service on the site should now be all back to normal. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
Private dialogue has been ongoing between topcats and Admin regarding their party and forum posts. Should you wish to talk to them yourselves then that is your right to do so, however, I can't condone a thread on a matter that you don't know any thing about. This thread will be locked.
Changes to the Moderator team would always be dealt with in a professional manner, after-all the site is owned by a professional company. Appointing a Moderator is a difficult decision. Using a voting system is a good idea but there's many other things that have to be taken into consideration by Admin with regards to the business aspect of the site. An ideal candidate has to be a professional representative with good customer service and communicational skill-sets, be available daily, and most importantly gel into the current team. Voting systems can be considered a popularity contest which could cause friction. Having said that, it's healthy to discuss these things so thanks for bringing this up
It's great to see that members on the site have a passion and care about the Moderator site staff. However I think we should respect any one that has left the team with some privacy, they would have all been spoken to by Admin and given a full explanation about the changes. All of the Moderators do a fantastic job, thumbs up from me

Thanks griff! Just checked and it says you can block them but i dont see an option to do that. soz il apologise in advance for all the qs I dont catch on too quick!

You can block messages that come in through the Mailbox.
If you go into a message in your Inbox, there's an 'Ignore' button. Hit this from someone you don't want to hear from again and job done

Also we now have friends and favourites....whats the difference?

If you're using the Search and you come across lets say 4-5 profiles you are interested in messaging, you can add them to your favourites. Later when you have more time you can then go into your favourites area and send them a message/take another look at their profile.
Favourites are basically a way to store a quick list of people you are interested in.
Friends on the other hand are more like the old favourites system, you have to mutually agree to become friends which then comes in handy because the friends feed on the home page will show what they've been up to etc and you'll know when they are online. Friends will become more useful later when we add in the Site Messenger.

Hey whats the story with the "id like to know more" mails? I have bout 3 of them all saying the same thing from 3 diff people? are they auto messages?

These are Winks wink
If you browse a profile, you should see an option to 'Wink'. Winks are quick messages, by default they'll be subjected 'I'd like to know more...' but they are better used if customised via Settings > Winks.
If the chat bar is being chopped off the bottom of your screen, try increasing your resolution: Right Mouse click on your Desktop > select ‘Properties’ > then the ‘Settings’ tab. Located at the bottom left of the display properties, you can increase the resolution to 1024x768. Please apply all changes.
It's bug in PHP. We're trying to find a work around. If any one with an underscore in their name wants to change it, just PM me with an alternative.
What can you see instead? If you'd prefer, drop me a PM. Don't forget, you can report bugs in this thread at the top: http://www.swing4ireland.com/wNQFv8pmBivXf7aZ
It looks like the records are presented in the wrong order. The latest login sessions should be first. I'll pass this onto the developer to debug. http://www.swing4ireland.com/LbrP15fgk9eljT1Q

It's probably worth dropping the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) into this thread: http://www.swing4ireland.com/aup.html

Particularly annoying that new members can do jack all without paying, while all the old wasters and messers are STILL able to get up to their old tricks because the old pre-upgrade profiles are unaffected - new profiles have to pay to look at pictures and even make a post in the forum! Old ones can post no problems and also look at pictures to their hearts content. Can you explain the fairness in that??
I would suggest you apply the features to all members, not just the new ones - you're only giving the existing messers even bigger chances.
Also - any chance of a laser option for payment?

If you remember when you joined up, the home page stated that for a limited amount of time you could join and receive a free upgrade. That limited time has now passed.
The only way to weed out the time wasters and the messers are to report them - there's an option on every profile to report someone. Send us the appropriate information and we'll investigate it from this end. If you don't speak up we're not going to know there's a problem.
We'll take a look into the Laser Payment option and any others mentioned.
