ok many have asked and complained that no one is meeting or setting up parties. But when we tried to do anything about it by posting our party on the thread it seems we got a lot of views but very little replies. Surely guys if your viewing you must have an interest? Are other couples having the same problem???

No probs here Dragon. The difference between our party and yours was we didnt advertise, but rather contacted people we wished to invite directly. Maybe give this a try and hopefully you will get a better response. We invited single guys, girls and couples to ours and must say it went down pretty well with everyone there. Hope this helps

We kinda did like you but found that some could not make it so then we decided to advertise. We did in the end have a fantastic party , having said that advertising on swing was too much trouble as there were total timewasters, pic collectors, and then just no shows, those that did attend in general were people who we had previously met and also had swung with. And of course who we respected. What I am trying to make a point of is that those who complain that there are no parties on the forums should at least get up and make contact rather than keep moaning. Would you agree with this?
Firstly sorry to see this has irritated you Dragon. I genuinely feel that several factors have marred this for you, the weather, time of year and geography. Kerry is just not as convenient to most of us as say Dublin is.
Now I understand it is instinctual to warn others of some profiles you might feel are less than genuine to the lifestyle, but I'm afraid we cannot condone naming and shaming or unsubstantiated claims against other users. Perhaps a pro-active approach may serve better in making the posters here feel that they have taken steps to enhance the site and their usage of it. Maybe come up with ideas that you feel might help in avoiding the time-wasters, thinking on the hoof here..... why not set up a group. You might name it something like 'ESTABLISHED SWINGERS'. Now this is in no way intended to ostracise the non established members here. It would simply be a database/pool available to you wherein you could invite established members to join, or who could apply to join the group. On the group news feed you could highlight any event you might have coming up etc. Now I know that this is on the same vein as the letsmeetup/parties forum but it should prove as a filtration system as you will know that those group members are genuine. Should you find a poor response therein you could then move on to advertising on the mainstream forums. As I said, was just a thought but maybe it might spark some better idea in the mind of a reader...........

totaly agree two mant time wasters here dragon i would of gone to party but the weather is not the best hopefully the next one xxxxxxxxxxxxxx up suzies chatroom
