I think if there are single guys verified and on the list for the meet n greet in limerick they should also be invited to the after party !! After all the club is seeking to benefit from the guests there .. It should be all Guests !! I think splitting the crowd after isn't good .. I assume your aim is to introduce new peeps to the club !! Let the single guys mail yer profile here and check them out !! Just my opinion ... I don't think leaving 10 or 15 single guys in the hotel bar will benefit anyone only the takings for the hotel ..

I don't think leaving 10 or 15 single guys in the hotel bar will benefit anyone only the takings for the hotel ..

Our motto is "We say YES - When we can" WE feel (i-kandi) - It's up to THE GUYS to STATE THEIR OWN CASE to US - i-ikandi, The safety and welfare of our Female guests/members is PARAMOUNT to us here at i-kandi. ALL our MALE GUESTS need to be identifiable AND traceable.
We are willing to consider (a limited number of SINGLE GENTS) - IF - AND ONLY IF !!!!!!!!

" It is a swing site and you club is a swing club......I wouldn't like to have to produce my personal documents to anyone in regards to swinging.....Naughtduo's verification of people should be enough for your club to allow all guests to attend if they so wish.... The safety of all guests is paramount at any event and I think Naughtyduo have always done a great job of this at M&G so I think theyre word is good enough without yous asking people to produce photo ID untility bills etc...theyre no applying to be in guards etc just looking a nite out lol

it's BECAUSE it's a "Swingers Club" we need ALL personal details FOR SINGLE GUYS - (confidentiality assured of course)
The DIFFERENCE is - We run a "SWINGERS CLUB" not a meet and greet, LEGALLY - PEOPLE NEED TO JOIN - AND BE MEMBERS - THIS IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT - and if YOU or THEY Can't obey the LAW
and OR have something to HIDE -
SORRY i-kandi is definitely NOT for you or them in any case.
Its 2013 NOT 1968 !!! Nobody gives a dam what you do in you spare time!
People give there "Personal details" to get a tesco mobile phone for peat's sake!!
We are a SWINGERS "CLUB" and as a "CLUB" YES - WE - MUST - HAVE - YOUR DETAILS because YOU YOURSELF will be the FIST PERSON online if we get it wrong! (Which has NEVER been the case in last 5 YEARS by the way!! ) As a PROFESSIONALLY RUN "CLUB" - We NEED to have a POLICY and RULES.
The EXTRA REQUIREMENTS - Photo I.D / Proof of address are ONLY required for
SINGLE - GENTS ONLY (with all the talk, and hype, we have only had one gent on to us so far, by phone. and he has no problems with the I.D required, so neither have WE letting him in to i-kandi!!)
However we do recommend ANY visitor to i-kandi this weekend to bring some I,D in any case folks.

Seems a bit OTT for me TBH, I'm certainly won't be going, giving a utility bill is a bit OTT, TOO many rules for single guys....what is the big fear about single guys ???? A lot of couples on S4I are a single girl and single guy....do they need the same ID ? We're sorry you feel that way, but you are asking us to trust guys we have NEVER MET formally to join a SWINGERS CLUB !!!. (We have a duty of care to ALL our women guests, that the RIGHT - "Gentlemen" are let in only.
I think we are bending over enough... pardon the pun. It rules out time-wasters and shifty people with something to hide.

We are not even asking for that.

I have to agree with my fellow swingers here .. It's definitely ott .for single guys. I have been to lots of parties and meet n greets and what I'm about to say may ruffle a few feathers ... Any time I have witnessed inappropriate behaviour ... (About five times ) in the 14 months swinging .., Four out of five of the perpetrators were Women !!! If the lads on here behaved like that there would be outrage but instead cause its a woman it's laughed off as if it's Ok !! Well it isn't and it's about time equality was exactly that. I understand in clubs and meet. N greets there has to a proportionate amount of male to females/couples etc ! But that's the only differential there should be !! There should not be different entrance rules .. If it's a picture Id and utility bill for the guys then it should be that for all guests of the club . Yours Filth !!

LOOK - ALL this DRAMA and hype! And so far, only ONE guy has expressed interest in going from HERE,(and we have said YES, to him!) as he as no problem with the I.D requirements.
As I said - "We say YES when we can" If guys contact us, WE WILL DO OUR UTMOST for them.
i-kandi is a BUSINESS not a democracy.. or hobby - Sorry. We - by contrast - have NEVER had a problem at our Club, and thats a hell of a lot of action in 5 years ...

As a member of quite a few UK clubs, I have absolutely NO issue with the rules of any clubs be it here or abroad, all clubs require that you must complete a membership and for the vast majority that does include personal details and ID. These clubs operate to the highest standards and run nights be it a couples only night, themed nights etc, however, ALL clubs MUST contain the amount of single guys in attendance. Could you imagine an experience of a fem entering a club to find that she is in such a minority that she is scared out of the place.. That is one of the reasons that these clubs have a stricter requirement with single guys.. It is for all the club members benefit not to be over run with single guys.. I personally have NO problem with the rules of any establishment. Granted its not for everyone, however, I do much prefer the club scene.. Now as I say its each to their own, clubs are NOT for everyone, I have had fantastic experiences in a club, have NEVER found fault with any of them.. (and I have been to a few). So if the rules of the club dont suit people, prehaps its not for them, in this instance I do feel that the club is offering an alternative to sneaking into a hotel room. And if I were in the area on Sat night I most certainly would be making an appearance.. :swingingchair::swingingchair:

Personally I wouldn't be drawn to a party that refused to invite single guys, and I decline invitations to join groups that exclude solo men. So I can see where the points raised are coming from
BUT
With the litigious nature of society, and in a business environment where really you are only as good as your last party, I do respect any venues right to set down rules and criteria. There have been Meet 'n' Greets organised in the past where the attendees were required to submit photo I.D. prior to being issued an invitation. This too caused controversy with some members, but some of us did submit this and did attend the event.
Think this post has little more to be added to it in discussion of the identification criteria. Points have been raised and addressed, it might be best from this point forward to allow the organisers to promote their event without it turning into an major incident. Single men, if you want to attend then you apply knowing the requirements in advance. Anyone else with an issue with it might be best not to attend so, be wise and find out the name of the hotel that will have the 10-15 single men sitting twiddling their thumbs at the bar, that's my dream come true !!!

Lets just be clear here would mr grey be welcome with or without ID? Or has an insuling two tier system now been switched to a three tier one? I am perhaps being slightly flipant there but thought it needed to be asked.
i understand certain rules are required but respect is very important to me and I feel respect is a two way thing ie. there needs to be respect on both sides. I'm just not seeing that in this set up as described here. I shall not be attending.

Ok guys we know this conversation is complicated. . We just want to tell our experience in this lovely swing club. . We have been there a few times now and we highly recommend anyone who loves swinging should give it a try.. the place is awesome plenty of space for fun, dark room, pole dance, sauna... every time we go there we really enjoy the staffs make us feel very comfortable.. we're glad to say WE ARE MEMBERS OF I KANDI ... even thinking about organize a party there soon... Having been to lots of clubs in the uk and further afield..... i have to say that this policy is pretty standard.... in the uk it has been a photo id such as a driving license or passport, we are currently members of three clubs in the uk. the reasons are pretty obvious but lets be honest if someone wants to do something silly they are less likely to do so if they are likely to get caught and in all our times at clubs here and abroad i have Never seen any incidents or problems as the clubs with strict entrance rules are usually very strict/and very well run. As for the single guy to cpl ratio i again understand i-kandi's view as it can become a bit of a hunting ground if the numbers are way off as i have seen in clubs in the uk on a friday night where single guys are allowed entry but say on a sat night only if they are with a cpl....now for some people this may be great if you have a greedy gal etc but its hard to please everybody every night and so easy to criticize ...... not taking sides here as we have met some super single guys!! Purefilth i am surprised at you questioning the clubs rules/reasons..... it was not that long ago we expressed an interest in going to one of your parties but you requested photo's of the two of us (photo id????). Now we declined as firstly we do not send pics to people i don't know and secondly we would not want to attend a party where entry is gained on looks only as some of the shallowest people we have met have been stunners.... (we were verified and knew lots going personally so it was not because you thought we were fake) anyway we did not go as we did not meet your criteria ie. send pics and it was no problem....that was your rules and it was accepted by us! Any way i-Kandi i hope you have a great night.... would love to try your club some night....why not run a swing4 night like clubs in uk do for sdc etc.... and like the clubs there first come first served with singles and cpls keeping a nice ratio!! And when are you fitting a hot tub/swimming pool as we love wet clubs...

Hi there, There seems to be a patern HERE. People that have visited CLUBS abroad, understand the standard I.D requirements. And people that have never been don't / cant get it.!! Anyway, If is was an interested SINGLE GUY id be making contact As most of the GENT availability has been pritty much snapped up (on-line) by Our own members!!! Some paying a LOT more than €30 too!! Oh well..... If we get MORE COUPLES again today, and tomorrow in the day We may be able to take a few more GUYS - not guaranteed, but well do our best as always!!! Plans after Christmas are - full dance floor with lighting rig and stage, And jacuzzi!! I-kandi Admin P.S Our normal fees for gents are €80 per party "on the door" And it is/was on sale HERE for €30 .... with simple I.D and a neat appearence. ... I don't know... I-kandi

I have read the opinions on both sides of this topic and as a single guy I wanted to have a brief say on it. I think i-kandi certainly have a right to run their business in what ever way they see fit. They have taken a bold step in opening the club in the first place and fair dues to them for that. Customer satisfaction is vital in any business and in a swing club the comfort of customers and a relaxed environment is a key ingredient. From the comments of couples who have been to i-kandi it seems that the management have provided that environment where people can relax and enjoy themselves. It has obviously taken i-kandi a lot of hard work and investment to achieve this and I think they have every right to protect both their own investment and the comfort and security of their customers. Given that respect for other people is such a fundamental element for happy swinging, I think one should also respect the managements right to take what ever precautions they feel necessary to protect the reputation of the club and the comfort of their customers. It only takes one 'idiot' to ruin it for everybody else and I think it is reasonable to expect that i-kandi management to do their best to ensure the continued success of their club. From experience of clubs abroad I know that providing satisfactory ID is a standard requirement and this should be respected in the case of i-kandi also. I see it is no more of an imposition on people, be they male, female or couples, than it is to also ask that they should be clean, tidy, sober, and well presented when visiting the club. Here's hoping that everybody respects each other and the rules...and has a great time !! smile

Fruity2 .... In response to the claim That I'm being hypocritical .. I asked ALL persons ( who I had not met previously ) who wanted to attend my party to send face pictures or go on cam if you think that's shallow that's your prerogative. There was over 200 applications for the party. I didn't refuse ye, ye just didn't opt to send pictures ( for yer own reason as stated in your mail). My point is that ideally one rule fits all .. Picture Identification and a utility bill for all potential entrants / temp / or full members to the club. I think the club certainly sounds like fun ..and may well look to become a member at some stage ! Happy swinging !
