face pics.... vital or an unnecessary risk to discretion????

I just added a face pic in an effort to differentiate myself from the time wasters etc. however, i have put it as a private pic.... just lookin for anyones thoughts on the importance of face pics and if they make much of a difference meet wise?????(trust etc.)

Whatever chances guys have in here, face pics will help them sooo much more. I've never met anyone without seeing a face pic or seen them on cam before!! It can only help your situation in my opinion!

IMO it is vital for single guys to be as forthcoming and honest as possible however couples should realise we have our own privacy to gaurd, some couples are of an opinion that if they want a single guy the " I say jump you say how high" rules applies ... Well itfly with me. Keep a face pix private and if they want it and you are happy they aren't creeps hiding behind a joint profile go for it. Been on here a wee while but put a fair effort into being as straight as possible with ppl and it works, genuine couples respect manners and effort smile

So do us singles! Mark I find I am more interested in communicating with someone who has a face pic available on their profile to determine if there might be an initial attraction. After that I would expect to see them on cam at some point to ensure the picture was real before discussing a meet. The only time this would not be necessary is if the person has met people I know and they can vouch for them.

Totally agree with midnightchat, if ppl meet you and recommend you to others it's almost further reaching than sending a 100 emails. I have been lucky enough to have met guys and gals here that have passed my details on. Just be cool, be yourself and things will fall into place naturally.

thanks a million for the replies! im getting that the general idea from everyone that the trick is to hang in there and keep at it until i can finally become an established member. am also already sure that the rewards of becoming an established member of the community will be well worth the initial irritation and hard work involved in trying to get a foot in the door while having the seemingly filthy label of "single male" hanging over me!! lol Anyways, cheers for the advice, ill keep my face pic on private anyways!!! i aint gonna give up anytime soon anyway! ..... slightly determined to prove the naysayers wrong!! ;)
