As a fellow single male I can understand where you are coming from. I found this place very cold and alienating from single males when I first joined, But the main thing is to have patience and try to get to know people. swinging is about trust and building a rapport with peoople before you ever hope to get a meet. unfortunately there are a few idiots that have the cop on of 12 year old Boys on here and they think that the couples and females are here for wank foder on cams, or that they will meet with a stranger at the drop of a hat. Take yer time and you'll find it far more fruitful,

One golden rule...always ask before you whisper, and do'nt be offended if you do get a refusal, especially if you are a total stranger to this person. If you are attracted to someone try to build up a friendship with them in open chat first.
Forums can be a great way to get to know people too...even though most of us here are total nutters
It is sad to say that the tossers on here have ruined it for the single male, straight or bi!
As a couple we find it very annoying when we get unwanted whispers looking for a fuck with just me the fem. Most cpls will not have solo meets. And it is very annoying that males forget i am part of a cpl and chat to me like teddy doesn't exist.
Our advice would be in agreement with Titan and Longjon, go into chat and get to know ppl, don't be pushy and whisper without asking first. And yeah come into the forums, we need new blood here lol
But most important...have fun and enjoy the site and remember it`s a swing site not an escort agency.

Yes I agree with all the postings here. As a single male i do know how hard it can be to be accepted, however, if you are yourself, your qualities will shine through and soon you will be having fun.
Just one piece of advice.....treat others with the respect they deserve and the respect that you would like shown to you too. We are all human with hearts....

As a single,straight male I know that it can be hard, to be accepted, to break into chat and to get party invites. But hang on in there, get involved, get into chat, act like you would in any social occasion. Build up relationships, expose yourself with honesty, be yourself and gain trust.
In any walk of life a decent girl will not meet a stranger if you clic your fingers why should they do it here?
Ensure that your profile is not a one liner and put up a pic even if it is private. I am here on the site a lot shorter length of time than you and I'm just getting comfortable now. You will get refusals never take them personally. It's a great site - so be patient, read all the advice in the forums, get involved and have fun.

great post dubhead ... agree with you 100% ... to be honest I dont see it as prejudice, rather personal choice by others as to whom they will meet or whose mail they will reply to ... even on a swiong site people are entitled to make choices.
That said many of the single males do not make life easy for themselves or the rest of us... un-couth behaviour in the chatrooms, rudeness in e-mails etc... it wouldnt be acceptable in any other environment & is certainly not welcome here

Agreed Style, but there have been several posts now highlighting the feelings of the single males. Unfortunately they have not had profound effect on the site itself. Maybe it's time for a change of tactics........ If I was to be noticed or to have people's attention on me for a moment in the forums,I would prefer it to be for all the right reasons. If I had this opportunity I would show my best side and try to show who I am and why a person should want to know me. We have selective memories and unfortunately we sometimes only remember an emotion created. I would not want the emotion associated with my username to be remembered as a negative. As you say yourself, Chance favours the prepared mind, so I say be prepared to shine.
