having appealed to admin your your behalf , we now have a dedicated bixsexual forum , enjoy .

Thank you Avalon kiss
Like a lot of others who have posted I wouldnt have a lot of interest in the "drop one, keep one","name that band","3 word story" etc threads but can understand that a lot of others do enjoy reading and posting in them. Just a thought but why not set up another forum called the funny forum(so original lol) or something similar and post the threads into that. It will keep the people who enjoy these threads happy and also give them a home. Anyone who doesnt enjoy these type of threads can then stay out of the new forum. From what I have been reading the thing that people dont want is that these threads are mixed up with the ones they would find more interesting in the Anytihng Goes forum
I read the forums daily, add sometimes too.. This is a swing site, the ethos should be "live n let live" but gather passionate and opinionated people together u will get debates that run high in emotion. each to their own.. yes people will argue, snipe at each other and strongly disagree.. but giving ur opinion without loosing ur dignity and taking that of another human, should be the way we conduct ourselves. the forums tho can be the heart of any decent site. :2fingers:
Very well said Bliss

I feel i have to point out, those who are saying they don`t like the forums for their own reasons have very low post numbers. As it has been said so many times if you don't like what you see make a thread of your own. No point bitching just for the sake of it. Those of us who regularly post love the forums for our own reasons, so maybe if people got involved there wouldn't be a need for this thread.
Raven
quiet pads cos this thread will be locked as well because ummm for something to do ???
interesting, did the guy that invented the 'Pad lock' show amazing Hindsight?

I have been away for a few days, but reading from afar ... all hell seems to have broken out in a number of threads ... & in some cases personal opinion has given rise to personality clashes, rather than open and frank debate.
Perhaps we should remembered thats what is written or said is difficult to take back ... take a breath, read & then press enter/send.
1- There should be no comments about former members or those not obviously active on the site, as these people cannot defend them selves.
2- Moderators are referees/facilators ... their decisions should be fair & qualified, their own personal opinions, likes/dislikes should not come into the discussions or be the basis of a decision. If a moderator wants to participate in a debate/discussion, then it should be using their non-mod profile. You cannot be a player and a ref. In rugby the refs decision is final & the ref is respected by the players.
3- At the end of the day we are all here for fun & to make new friends ...make love not war ...
I think some of the protagonists in the forums need to think about what has happened and then build that bridge ... opinions are valued but so is the right to disagree ... neither should result in a verbal war.
to some new members & some readers the forums could seem a hostile are, rather than the the fun place it is in reality.
Would you go into a restaurant and taste every dish on offer? Would you then go on to criticise the dishes you dislike? I doubt it very much.... Forums on any site are a reflection of the diversity of people who populate the site, simple suggestion... If you don't like the menu don't sit at the table ..

Interesting point here Virgo.....
Some of the threads on the forum are way beyond me, in that maybe my wit isn't up to scratch. But I do admire those who post here that are genuine and leave themselves open to criticsm.
I will only post here if I feel I have something honest to say, but for reasons of hurt and nastiness in the past shown to me, I am always careful of what I say.
But I agree with Alan, we are all entitled to share our opinions, but always remember, that for the most part, we are all real people, with real lives and real feelings. So rather than going off on a rant and been nasty to someone, take a step back and think before you type.
My self confidence has grown so much since coming on here and I am sure it is the same for many more. But regardless of our reaons for been here, let us show respect to everyone, and those who decide not to....well simply....they can leave.
