Have to agree with the ladies here, I personally know a few of the mods and nicer more genuine people you could not meet. I for one would never want a job of a mod as know they do a whole lot of work behind the scenes and have to deal with all sorts of shite etc to keep the site running smoothly.
There are chat room rules for a reason and there job is also to keep chat running smoothly and to keep it a place for everyone, so many times ive seen idiots kicked for being just plain stupid plonkers, people are warned and there are chat room rules there for a reason and if mods to not uphold the rules so to speak chat with be a complete mess, so dan if u do have a problem with a particular mod its probably best to send a mail to admin besides bashing them on here!!
This is only my opinion!!
It's been a while since we've had Mod bashing on here. I have to say that the Mods do a great job, not only making sure that the chatroom runs smoothly but sorting lots of other problems. And they are all doing this in time that they could be using differently and they do not get paid.
While all users are entitled to an opinion, rather than just post about your perceived problem fire a note to Admin if you are really upset.
I dont think I can add much more then what has been so eloquently put by you all..... :thrilled:
We all know the rules of the site and the mods do a fantastic job of ensuring they are enforced and that is not for the purpose of ruining anyone's fun, the rules are there to ensure everyones enjoyment of the site.
If you have a gripe with how a mod has dealt with you or a situation you feel is unfair then you should mail admin.
And this is why i hate so see posts like this going up... cos sooner or later theres always one who comes along and turns it nasty.. and true to form Sugarloaf it didnt take you long..
stay busy hun cos i for one dont miss your nasty comments !!
Listen.
People are allowed to have an opinion, but lets not start having a pop at each other please.
If people have issues with a mod then they should address them to admin as others have said,
We mods have very strict guidelines to operate too and are constantly monitored by the site owners.
Some like the fact the site is moderated and some dont, Thats just life but we wont allow people having a pop at each other on the forums as this is against site rules.
Lets not bring personal issues into the forums.
Sean
I don't want to seem as if I am being dictatorial in my response but I'd like to see this post die out now. The positive comments are much appreciated but no mods need them to do the job they are doing. We all can't like each other like busom-buddies but as an adult site it is hoped we can conduct ourselves in an adult manner. If ye can't get on the just stay apart.
In putting this matter to bed I would just want to say......... I stand behind any action I have taken as a mod, if you have a problem with it bring it to Admin. If it is a valid complaint I will be dealt with. If it is a petulant childish reaction to having been pulled up and instructed to act like an adult and adhere to the rules you agreed to adhere to when joining the site..... then your complaint will be given as much attention as it deserves (as long as it takes to type the words 'case closed'). Now a post was opened to complain about treatment, I will be very curious to see if there is a valid complaint logged with Admin. If it is found that anyone behaved in a manner that is found unacceptable then I am confident Admin will deal with this appropriately.
And just for the record I didnt get nasty Upfor so dont start gettin bitchy with me thank you very much.
My point was that people proclaiming that mods are just so brilliant as a whole is stupid.
Yes they are needed and the vast majority of them are cool as I mentioned earlier. But stating that every single one of them are realy nice is naive. So please do not take a pop shot at me and get yourself something to occupy youre time instead like maybe a life
That is all.
opinions are like arseholes ..... every bodys got one .
Post like these will always annoy people and in many ways instigate a nasty argument.
Sometimes people have personal grievances or are upset about the way something has been handled ( I'm not suggesting that in this case that is the reason for Dan's post)
Our own thoughts are that all replies are justified, afterall this is a Forum, however to take it to a personal level here is wrong on all sides:

Sean's reply sums it all up.
Yeah just look at the today i am thread to see just how a mod has been trying to make a joke of an issue between two members. Its behaviour like this that gets them a bad name. And its not fair cos most of them are really good at their role but some abuse their power and get involved in disagreements between members and stir the pot for kicks. And thats not showing impartiality nor does it display any sense of professionalism in ones role.
Behaviour like this deserves a big fat F for FAIL
Have to say, after being on here a while and just the thoughts of a male on an adult site - I have nothing but the utmost respect for the mods on here. Its a thankless job, yes most of the times they get things right but maybe just the odd time they get things wrong but who doesnt. ( and if you think u do ur god ha). They try there best and when ever ive had trouble they ve always helped me out.
Every 1 here here for there own reasons, fun. They log on and can be bomb barded with other peoples promlems and knowin Irish people they want problems fixed right away.
AHHHHHHHH getting late, at the end of the day we are all HUMAN.
