Sounds perfect Titan!! Will this landing strip your proposing accommodate all types of fully functioning aircrafts? You shouldn't have a problem there considering some of the aircrafts are as high as a kit when coming into land.
I agree with you Titan. As I mentioned earlier a 'lobby' or 'landing strip', as you call it Titan, would be a good idea. My idea for a lobby would be a room where you could not chat, but could look at a list of rooms, and if possible a list of who is in which room.
Also on the question of a 'newbies room', I would prefer to think of a newbie as a person new to swinging more than new to this site

Back to my original post. . . Change the"name of the room" . . . . Nothing will change! Same people will still be there! New members need to be encouraged not bloody labelled! Nothing personal too previous posters, but in reality. . . Hello ! ! To me it seems like a form of vetting out of new users, something that I personally would be apauled by. My two pennies worth. Further more, we all had to land once on here! Most stay and build up not only a rapport but a friendship and more. Lets not create a "Two Tier scenario here - them (newbies and us)" .
Jeez I have said too much! One final thing, live and let live. As adults we have the choice. Lets keep this site the best swing site.

Louth...whats the story? You never say enough..
But I agree with you and it was me who started it and I do realise that in a moment of disappointment at the thought of people leaving the site, I wrongly labelled the New Members. I do apologise for this and had I carefully thought things through, I would have approached this much differently and more sensitively.
Anyone who knows me, knows I am sensitive and I let myself down.
