I like the idea, but there are enough beauty pagents and talent contest surly this can be a contest on merit and not on looks or stamina . Let's have a Mr and Mrs Swing and maybe even crown them at the upcoming meet n greet. Secret ballot of course...
I agree about voting on merit, and my vote was based on merit as I have never met my candidates and havent a clue what they look like
am confused........a previous thread along the same lines was removed a few months ago as it could be deemed it may be offensive to some members!
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to who they meet...who they find attractive/sexy or whatever, meaning that you could be handing out titles all day. This place is filled with women who are beautiful....witty......charming....charsamatic......some who are in the fore be it through their pics in the gallery...their chat in the rooms...even their comments in here. None better than the other.

alicolwic......you have missed my point entirely.
Mona why would some people find a vote like this offensive? It's just a little fun. Someone would really have to be very uptight to find a vote/poll like this offensive. I personally (As a man, as Ally doesnt do forums) cant see how or why a person be it male or female would be offended. Do you personally find it offensive? If you do find it offensive, but won the poll would you still feel the same way?

I do not find this offensive......my comments on this were merely questioning whether this post was similiar to the one which was removed a few months back........personally I am of the belief that it would be impossible to choose one outstanding female member on here.
Hiya Desdemona, I just checked it out and the post was not removed the OP asked for it to be removed as it was me whom he asked to removed it, Swing Awards was the title of the post, hope this clarifys things a little.
To add, I agree that there are far too many sexy fems on this site to purely choose 1.
If I remember rightly the thread that was removed was a similar thread something like the academy awards, ie. the best this and that. I think the reasoning at the time was it might cause upset to anyone who did not get a mention. However if this thread goes ahead, I personally could see no harm in it, because if you do not get a vote does'nt mean you are not popular as there are thousands on this site but only a few venture into the forums.
