We brought them back to the shop wgere we purchased most of them but they would only give the 50% refund on a DVD for DVD basis. As the average cost of a DVD there is €50 that meant having to spend €250 minimum to exchange all 10 DVD's.
I wasn't in the mood to part with that much cash (must check my family tree for Cavan connections) & they wouldn't take the DVD's & issue us with a credit note so we only exchanged 2 of them. We didn't expect them to just buy the DVD's off us, surely there must be somewhere that will rent DVD's or take them back & let you purchase other items from the same shop??? Or an on line service that allows you to rent rather than buy DVD's???
