I think the site follows the mood of soceity in general. When things were good, there was loads of banter, M&G being organised and generally a good atmosphere. I find it is much quieter now - 140 in chat and no-one chatting! Maybe people can't get away as readily anymore so the site is in a lull.
Also the number of time wasters increases with the number of people with nothing to do, its probably a sad fact of life.
My philosophy is that we choose to login and if we do then just be honest and if fun happens let it. But don't be a dick....
Ps: It is not just this site, one other site, used to have loads in Irish chat, now it is always zero.
