They should be added to a FAQ, a simpler way of doing it is: Control Panel -> Folder Options, in there there'll be an checked box saying something like this: "Hide known file types", uncheck this. Thats the hard part over, its set for good unless you change it back. A little bit about file types, for "jpegs" there are 4 different types, but they all reference the same file type: .jpeg, .jpg, .JPEG, .JPG, and while this won't generally make a difference on your PC, some web servers are very particular about this stuff... Now, as you have unchecked you're "Hide known file types" when you click on a file, you will be able to see what it is, say its , and I can't remember what this site accepts, but say it will only accept .JPEG, give your mouse some chees and then right-click on the file and clear off the jpg bit and replace it with JPEG this will change it to the accepted type, without damaging the picture. To the person, who said that having a pic or 3 on your profile will get you more interested mail, it doesn't, I haven't recieved any!!! Grr!!! lol
