But how do you reply or apply to a swinger party ad on this site if the couple won't even communicate unless you send a face picture? (I'm asking this rhetorically in all reality!)
When a 'established' couple say that they will exchange face pictures, part of this I assume is a mutual safeguard. When the couple don't act accordingly it puts the applicant in a unsafe position.
It just strikes me as being unfair and in truth a trifle hypocritical when you read some of the moralising on this site in relation to behaviour and etiquette etc.

Hi all, I'm relatively new to all this and a recent experience has left me wondering a little.
A lot of us here want our participation to be kept very discreet, I think that's a given...so a lot of communication requires trust.
I replied to a swinger party ad that requested a face pic with the proviso that the party holders would provide one in return. They also asked me where I'm from of the city where I live.
Well, I sent the pic, was politely told that I wasn't what they are looking for and that's it.
Now this couple know what I look like, roughly where I'm from and that cushion which would have been their photo not forthcoming.
It doesn't seem quite fair or am I wrong?
