Thinking / talking about it is a passion killer. It spoils the fun. I know we had the attitude if we don't think about it it will never happen. Everything (good) in life involves some degree of risk. We've had great times swinging and would love more but wondering if its worth it in light of potentially permanent consequences.
As much as we love swinging we were thinking only recently how lucky we are not to have contracted an STI. From chatting to a doctor friend they were saying the cases of STIs in Ireland are going though the roof.
This leaves us with a dilemma: how to have fun and not put ourselves at risk. This is not possible!!
Herpes, HPV (warts etc) are transmitted via skin to skin and a condom does NOTHING to prevent this. People say they are careful who they swing with but there is NO way of telling who has such infections. These things stay for life and we just don't think the risk is worth it ;( In recent times we are soft swap only so HIV/HEP is not as a big a concern for us as the more easily transmitted.
Is there any couples who have gone down the road of watching only. We are considering this: meet with couples to watch only, or maybe look at using dental dams etc.
I just couples (us included) would rather not think/talk about this as it spoils the fun, but it only takes one encounter and its with you for life.
We are looking at all inclusive options for the summer. We are looking at the resorts in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Florida etc.
We are interested in clothing option / lifestyle friendly resorts. The only problem is the reviews are mixed and the value for money is not great, so we are searching wider that lifestyle resorts.
So we are looking to go in August to an all inclusive and look to meet up with couples. Anyone had experience?
We would prefer somewhere with younger couples (under 40).
We went last weeks for two weeks. Best place to stay is Jardin D'Eden or Hotel Eve - aslo the most expensive.
All the other accomodation is in apartment blocks - Port Ambonne, Port Nature, Heliopolis. All run by the same company so best ring them for prices.
You can also stay in the campsite at the side of the village and they do air conditioned bungalows etc.
Love the site and there are lots of users but we think a better validation system would be a great idea. I know there is a validation system but it is not clear when you look at profiles etc, who or what is validated.
When a profile is photo verified there should be a prominent symbol when searching and you should be able to search verified only memberss. Another great system would be a gold verification where members would talk briefly to a mod on cam.
This would cut down time spent dealing with fakers. Works great on another site we are on but it covers the UK and there are not as many Irish members.
