We feel that the old whisper rule that people had to ask before whispering should be brought back. It encouraged people who use the chatroom to actually chat and for the most part lead to a busy and enjoyable experience. As much as it was a nuissance for the mods it would at least make the rooms seem busy. Now its seems people are quiet happy to wait until they see a cam go on and then bombard people with whispers which is a little sad, while the public rooms dont move unless those who usually chat contribute. then when those people do chat they are labelled a clique. Also feel that members with extras should be allowed recommend 2 or 3 free members a year for a free extras profile for 3 months. This would allow genuine folk to get more genuine folk full access to the site and get them promoting the site to others.
It seems that a lot of genuine people who were a big part of the banter and craic on the site have left and very few have filled the void they have left and there has been little promotion of the site to encourage people to get involved.

The authoriteeeeees have now gotten involved. It is believed "Maximus" was involved in a hit and run in Donegal over night. Mr PLC is in a comfortable condition since but walking is slightly impaired! latest reports suggest maximus has now got a beard at both ends and running low on fuel due to not being charged. Add to fact mr PLC is very tight, the effort has really taken it outta Maximus and is now in a condition where he is dangerous if approached!!

This thread has been long overdue as like a lot of people who have posted before us, the tact and discretion regarding chatting about meets in the chatroom seems to have completely gone. Our approach regarding the mentioning of upcoming meets in chat has always been this. We would never mention an event directly. We have always tried to use subtlety using humorous innuendo that would seem like just normal flirting to those not attending yet the people who going would know what we were on about. This approach we feel does not make anyone feel left out and keeps a good banter and craic going in the chatroom which is what the chatroom should be all about. Having been on here and other sites a very long time we have seen the harsh consequences of the lack of indiscretion regarding meets. People need to remember the press are constantly only looking for the slightest slip up to infiltrate a meet'n'greet or party so they print a story that will grab peoples attention for 5 mins over coffee but can have very damaging consequences for the people they mention directly. We have seen peoples relationships destroyed and peoples likelihoods lost and it was all started by someone mentioning an event to someone with no malicious intentions. When we were mods the rule was that events were for the forums and email and should be kept there. If an event was coming up and those attending wanted to chat about it, a private room (password ed) was opened using an obscure title and the password was pm'd to those who were attending and invited to join the room. We feel this was the way to go as it kept the chat about the event secure, alienated nobody and the main chatroom was free for others to enjoy.
As regards post meet chat. It will always happen but the way it has been drawn out on here for sometimes up to a week is not right. People on the site would recognize that after a gr8 meet folks can be on a high and want to enjoy that elation but surely this should only be visible for a day or two in chat and after that keep it private.
By posting on this we are not having a dig at ANYONE directly and anyone who feels we are should contact us. It is just out opinion.

having heard this stupid rumour this evening we immediately contacted parky in case he and flashbacks were not aware of the tripe that was doing the rounds. Sadly though this seems to be ongoing feature of this site. it seems some people are going around trying to destroy genuine folks reputations with the hope that it strengthens theres... one word comes to mind ( PATHETIC ) We have been on the end of this carry on and on occasion have been blammed for stuff which we had absolutely NO part in. people seem to get a kick out of hearing an innocent conversation and manipulating and twisting for their own sad agenda and dont give a toss about who or what damage they do. We have been advised admin about this on more than one occasion but it seems others are saying different. For us anyone found to be starting this c**p and spreading it should be kicked from the site as it has giving this site a bad reputation.... my rant over!!
