I understand where you are coming from and may be able to offer a very simple explanation. Ignorance! Not ignorance in a bad way but just not really knowing how its supposed to be done. I have made my share of mistakes on this site since I joined earlier today but since I actually took the time to read through the carefully written FAQs I have realised what I was doing wrong.
I would say dont get too bothered by people who bug you, just add them to your ignore list and forget about them. They will learn soon enough that they need to change their approach if they want any kind of response.

Just wanted to post a little about ourselves to get us started. We are completely new to this scene and would welcome any advise people have.
Ladiesman - Yes, I did pinch the name from Transformers but not because I am a geek but because I'm a guy and have no imagination when it comes to making up names. I am as straight as they come but have done some experimenting in the past. Enough to know I dont want to repeat it - LOL
