hi galway people, i posted this thread on here last week and got only 1 reply, the person replying said he' d be at tha place at the time. and guess what, nobody fucking turned up. I keep hearing from galway people in the chatroom that there' s fuck all happening and general moaning about the galway scene who according to the people is crap. well you had a chance to get to meet and you didn' t come or show up, so don' t be fucking moaning. it will only happen if u make it happen.

You posted on the 13th for a meet on the 17th - giving only 4 days notice !!!! None-Runner from the start!!!! Members of the site do not log in every day so there's no way they could respond in time to a notice of only 4 days!!!! Give people a couple of weeks and they may just start to amaze you.
Additionally, not many people would be comfortable meeting strangers in the sauna (undressed). Pick somewhere neutral, like a bar or a coffee shop, BUT don't post the name of the venue on the Forum - that's not only against the rules of the site here but also leaves the participants wide open to being spotted by the less-than-reputable journalists who'd love to blow your faces all over the Wonday Sorld!!!
Incidentally, I'm organising a Galway social meet in October.

Fellow Galwegian here.
Firstly I am not surprised your plan flopped, suggesting a meet in a sauna of a public pool of all places is not going to get anyone interested unless they be terribly deviant types, I suggest that you go for a social meet first and then maybe get some names and once people have had a social meet theyre may be some fun meets out of it.
I am hoping to plan something soon and I will Keep you posted.
