Hi...i wonder can anyone help....a few of us would like to go to donabate as it appears to be the closest suitable beach for us coming from the north....unless anyone knows different....we went down last year on a busy sunday and drove up the beach and went round by the golf club but we were unsure of the correct location.....any help would be much appreciated

Hi all.
The best places to go nude in Ireland are along the beaches. Especially on Donabate beach also called Corballis. The parking for the beach is next to the ** Removed **. You must then walk down the beach to where it just starts to curve around to the Malahide extuary. The last or lower 1/3 is used by nudists and if some textiles come along you can always go into the dunes until they pass. Tt is frequented mostly by males but there are couples who go as well.
The beach is long and often deserted, and is a great place for couples who might like to try it out for the first time, especially in the mornings. you can also climb into the dunes and get a nice little suntrap and enjoy the sun on your naked body. I you get too hot then go for a naked swim in the sea...wonderful.
The other place on the east coast is Brittas beach. This is not he main Brittas beach but the beach south of it and south the headland known as mizzen head.(I know not the famous one in Cork) There is a golf Course there and just south of the golf course is the naturist (tolerated) beach. You can walk, swim, and picnic there any time you like. You can explore the dunes all in the nude and no one will say boo to you. They mignt see or watch you but hey they wouldn't be human if they didn't do that.
So come all you naturist and nudest and thinkers ..give it a go

went to Donabate on Saturday past only to find that there were no cpls there, only gay men who were openly enjoying each others company. A bit of a disappointment after a long drive.
Went to Brittas Bay a few weeks back and can safely say that it is much better for str guys like us, who are looking to see/meet cpls and fems, but once again, its a long way fromDown.
If you are taking a partner with you let me know and perhaps we can meet up, maybe closer to home as I am also inDown.

Sounds like fun on the beaches then, but it's starting to get a bit cold out, might take a trip down to brittas some time to see if anything is happening, but what kind of times are people likely to be down there...and is it only a summer weekend thing or are people out there all year round.
