BI SELECTIVE
Person who prefers opposite sex sexual activity, but enjoys same sex sexual activity on a limited basis with the right person,

Admin have been asked the question before - can there be a "Bi selective" option, rather than just the Bi or Bi-Curious option.
Via this poll it may be possible to guage what people feel is the best descriptive term for them and then we can lobby admin again, remember it took a lot of time to get the Bi-Forum option. Many of us are past the curious stage but Bi is just the wrong description of our sexual preferences.
Bi-Selective - I know it best suits me - not every meet is Bi, as it is dependent on, how the meet is going - very much time, place, opportunity. Even if those I am meeting have Bi on their profile, it may not be what they want at that time.
I and many Guys (& some women) will know that putting Bi on your profile can be very limiting, as many profiles clearly state no Bi-guys (strange no one ever sems to mind Bi-Fems)
I don't know what they imagine may happen buy!!! ... however a Bi-selective option and a clearer understanding of what it means my mean these closed opinions are at least a little more educated.
So please take part in the poll, leave an opinion and hopefully we can have some concrete opinions to present to Admin.

Personally, I don't really like the whole label thing. However in saying this, I also believe that we must be honest, not with anyone else initially, but with ourselves firstly and then others. I have struggled with this for a long time, but now I am satisfied that in enjoying both opposite and same sex encounters, then I am bi-sexual. I am not sure that bi-selective really works as one could easily argue that they are hetro-selective too, in that it isn't everyone that you might like to be with. Just an observation, thats all.

Dara4u, I think it is all quite clear in the definition, those of us that would claim to be bi-selective would not be interested in a 1 on1 meeting with a same sex individual, any encounters are normally as a result of group fun or a meet with other couples, typically mmf, ffm or mfmf, encounters. So yes you may be right we are also hetro-selective.

Bi-selective is limited to the ocassional dabble ... a bit like visiting a foreign country...nice to visit but "I wouldn't want to live there".
I think the "bi-selective" option would be more in keeping with how many site members view their sexual preferences and interests.

Alan, while I do understand where you are coming from, I would have to disagree with you on the above. If a person is Bi-sexual this does not then suggest at all that they could see themselves as been in a 1 on 1 relationship with a member of the same sex. To do so will then suggest that the person is homosexual.
At the end of the day, everyone whether they are straight, bi or gay is selective about who they would like to be with. You will be attracted to some and not to others, and equally, it will be the same in return.
It took me along time to admit to myself that I am attraced to members of both sexes, and hence I am bi-sexual as well as been selective in who I am with.

Alan Funny how we were just talking about this the other night....lol I agreed with you to....I had on my profile Bi....but it didnt suit me or who I am, I was being approached my bi females in couples with the view to meeting primarily for a bit of fem play. For me....where I may be no longer curious....my bi tendancies only come out in play in group situations and in mff;s and mmff's. And definitely only with a select few females. I can see when someone says....you are either bi or not....well I am...and i;'m not! I for one would never be interested in a female enough to want a relationship with one. I do admire and enjoy the female form however when the time and place is right. I would put down in my advert and explain that i only play with women on special occasions so to speak. But alas some people dont read that far. Prizes for guessing what i voted for.....lol

I have no emotional attraction to females, simply sexual, but I do not like the term Bi-Selective, you are either Bi or not.

I do agree with Alan that stating Bi on the profile can put people off, but yet, I would rather people be aware of this so as to avoid any embarassing situations.
