Hi brekky, you'll certainly find it a lot easier if you have a partner but that said some clubs will allow a limited number of single men. In my limited experience most will be vetted before the meet through a series of photos and general its in a venue like a holiday home or hotel they might sometimes be asked to help cover a greater part of the bill.
My suggestion is maybe try to meet a single woman who has listed that they are looking for single men and if you get on you might end up going as a couple. It worked for me for quite awhile and there's a much lower risk of jealousy becoming an issue when you first meet on the grounds that you are both swingers.

I thought that was a question about general swinging. Dogging tends to depend who you meet on the day kind of thing. Just remember the cardinal rule: No is very definitely no.
Some dogging couples will enjoy having a single male in some capacity; watching, taking part as a threesome or having the male partner watch.
If they say you can do A but not B - don't push your luck and try for B.
