As a mother of a son in his late teens, I too have a lower age limit purely as the majority of the time I would not feel comfortable meeting and having sex with someone who is young enough to be my child.
Have the age limit in my profile but it still does not stop the lover age from mailing me, to me this shows a lack of maturity and respect for an individual's preference or is it that some of them look at the pictures only and never read the profile?
How many time have ladies on here heard it said, Oh I think you are a lovely person but you remind me of an aunt/ family relative " so I just cant have sex with you, or at a party or group situation you hear "so and so reminds me of someone and i cant preform" what is the difference between those comments and having a lower age limit.
Everyone has their own personal choices / boxes that have to be ticked before a meet will happen, for some of us age is one of those boxes and where a member has taken the time to put it in the profile it should be respected.
it clearly states the age group I prefer on my profile however there are exceptions.........I will only meet with one man in his mid to late 20's he knows who he is and has shown incredible maturity and discretion and thats why I will meet him ........will bend the rule slightly to accomodate sincere and genuine 30's also..........

On the serious side though to answer the question Vanity - do we get propositioned by the 18 to 25 year olds? Yes but not on this site and they nearly always turn out to be either models looking for viewers or non-eu nationals looking for an easy way into the union. Personally I nearly always look for someone within 10 years of my age and the closer the better cos I grew up with that age group and they "look" right to me and not like children - no disrespect intended at all to younger folk - but being a parent as well colours my perspective.
:doggy:not so young that they could be my kids .... so like Knock ...about 10-15 yrs either side of my own age ... I also find we then have similiar interests & it is easier to hold a conversation ... that said at many a meet&greet I have met & chatted to younger but to be honest chatting to them was all I was interested in & the ladies were hoooooot, but so are those that are more my own age.
There is always scope of course, but my window is quite narrowly closed I guess...
Lower limit 30, upper 40... I have experimented quite a bit with either extremes of both limits and I have to say that these are the ages I am most comfortable with. But nothing's set in stone and in many cases age is really just a number.
