pictures not make the whole swinging sites somewhat seedy. would it not be better if the pictures were a little more tame and leave the explicit stuff to when couples meet or requests such

Each to their own I say. If someone wants to upload a pic where they are fully clothed, thats ok with me. If someone wants to upload their more intimate parts or upload pics of them performing sex acts then that is also totally fine with me too. This is a swing site after all, and intended for consenting adults only.

Yes, I have to say I do like the more intimate pictures on the site, it shows what other couples are into and whether or not you may share similar interests sexually, also getting to see body shapes, types and equipment(excuse my crudeness) can eliminate possible awkward situations, unfortunately does nothing to eliminate all time wasters but awkward situations arising from less than honest written descriptions can result in time wasted!

Had to giggle at that. But seriously, are these folks genuine? Are they religious or something but closet swingers at the same time? How can you be a swinger but not like nudity or suggestive photos? Pictures are what they are and some people are into voyeurism and exhibitionism and that would be a reason for some of the picture which are uploaded.
