HERE IS A THING THAT IS SURE TO UPSET A LOT OF PEOPLE ON SITE RUDE MESSAGES, WHISPERS, LIES ABOUT SOMEONE ON CHAT OR BY WHISPER. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE THE MODS ON THE SITE TO DO. WHAT IS IN THERE POWER TO DO? WE KNOW THEY TRY SO DONT TAKE THIS AS A MOD BASHING ITS NOT. ITS JUST US AS MEMBERS VOICING OUR OPTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THE SITE EVEN BETTER THAN IT ALREADY IS. SO ANY MOD WHO IS READING THIS DONT TAKE IT AS A NEGATIVE MORE A POSITIVE OK.

I like most of the other mods would suggest the following. When in chat set your whispers to authorise only. They you have to approve if you want to receive the whisper or not. If someone is annoying you in chat just block them. It was one of the major reasons for upgrading the site earlier in the year and everyone was asking for it, well it's there and people need to use it. If someone is sending you abusive emails then submit them as an abuse report and the mod team will deal with them. There can be hundreds of people in chat on a busy night so its impossible for the the few mods to police everything, but every user has the power to stop someone whispering to them if they dont want the whispers. Abusive conduct in open chat can also be submitted as an abuse report, which will also be delt with, but this tends to happen less as most of it will usually be in whispers. Thank you for your sound advice sean, you couldnt exactly call it abusive more creepy than anything, insinuating stuff that had never happened and knowing the location of our home. Kerry beleives that someone should be banned first and then prove themselves to come back to the site especially when the said someone has been banned before for this kind of behaviour. It has been reported to a mod and she has assured us it will be dealt with and we have 100 per cent trust in her. As I said we already said we are not mod-bashing here and do appreciate you not taking our post that way..... thank you p.s. my annoyance here is that said person will be reading this post to his great amusement and be delighted that he has upset me. Oh well I suppose it takes a sick mind to get delight out of upsetting other people which is probably the reason that he has been on the site for 3 years has no verifications or no friends...... LOL
