I couldnt find a thread like this using the search funtion so i thought id go ahead with it.
Just a simple thing. What did you last see? Was it at the cinema? DVD? Was it any good? etc
Last movie I saw was "Moon" w/Sam Rockwell. Saw it in the cinema. Was realy good i thought. Some might find it slow moving but i loved the feel of it. Reminded me of Solaris and 2001.
watched Black Snake Moan a cpl of nights ago.....good film, but was expecting something a little harsher for some reason. Got halfway through The Assasination Of Jesse James the other week, then fell asleep....not coz its boring - i was really tired lol. Will deffo be rewatching it to see the end, but wont mind watching it al the way through as I enjoyed the first half.
Last Dvd I watched was Dunston checks in and last movie in the cinema I watched was Ice Age3 biggrin and no they were not a preference of mine. rolleyes
Just saw "no country for old men" on sky ....what a film a must see folks lol
"Marley and Me"
A tear-jerker movie about the maddest Labrador on the planet - funny, cliched, but great Sunday Afternoon fare - just have a large box of man-sized tissues handy before you start.

T, Maybe you mixed it up with that other Samuel l jackson snake themed film, the Partagon of crap cinema that is 'Snakes on a plane'?
Last film I watched was 'Taken' Liam neeson goes after some nasty eastern european kidnappers to save his daughter, was'nt too bad actually.

Last film I watched was 'Death at a Funeral', its an english comedy. Might not be everyones cup of tea but I thought it was very funny.

I thought Taken was awesome. I was like "Go get em Liam!" lol I watched Forbidden Planet last night. Love that flick. Had'nt seen it in years. You gotta love the blatent sexism in those old movies lol

No idea,It must have been 18 years ago,,at least!!
the Wrestler... now i know why it took me so long to watch it in the 1st place..... boringggggggg lol
Watched Elizabeth - The Golden Age last night. Now as a rule I dont do costume dramas, but made an exception for this as I enjoyed the first one so much, as wasn't disappointed. Cate Blanchett (phwoar) is again outstanding as Elizabeth, Clive Owen is a credible Sir Walter Raleigh, and I can't remember who plays Philip of Spain, but he was brill....total religious nutter, mad as a box of frogs. If you like period pieces then I would thoroughly recommend it. I also watched Iron Man yesterday (I know, from the sublime to the ridiculous) and was totally rapt. Robert Downey jnr has totally become Tony Stark for my money, in the same way that Heath Ledger stole the Jokers crown from Jack Nicholson, and Daniel Craig has taken Bond to new heights and depths (I'm sure that some people will disagree with both those statements, but what the hell). Being a big scifi fan I've been really pleased with the current crop of space and superhero films....some great characterisation and writing....and can't wait to get hold of a decent copy of both Terminator Salvation and Transformers II (ooops..did i say copy?????).
you might like hulk 2 andy with the excelent ed norton,,,tony stark makes a late apperance,,,,,
does porn count
yes donna but if its home made,,,,please forward copies
The Burrerfly & the Bell .... such a brilliant interpretation og the original story
seen it jon...while ed norton and tim roth are great actors i thought the film was a bit disappointing.
i saw a movie called "The Nines" recently, I didn't know what to think. Was definitly one of the stranger ones.
watched the lost boys the other night, hadnt seen it in years
