Arrogant people who think they are better than everyone else and like to put people there is something wrong with people like that.I know there is a fine line between arrogance and confidence but you can tell the difference.I worked with one a proper arsehole!

Surely that would be a spelling and not a grammatical lesson......... hee hee hee hee! As far as grammar goes, it hurts my teeth when I hear people say 'I done it'; no you 'did it' or you 'have done it'. Another one is 'I seen'. No you 'saw' or you 'have seen'.
Teachers hehehe

It might be confusing to some, if it is so be it we know what is meant : ) But it's just that it even look's wrong : ) recieved should be received! smile Oh and freinds is another very common 1! It is actually friends! But I see freinds written so much now I think people are startin' to convince themselves it is actually freinds lol! : )

ha I recently did a little experment and answered every mail I got...I wont be doing it again. It opened up a line of communication I did not want and apparantly a polite no thank you is not a good enough answer for some ppl. So while some mite think not answering mails is rude I dont actually care.

So unfortunately i often just hit delete...
Exactly upfor, or it gets to the stage where they actually you beg your to give them a chance or put your trust in them and when u still decline u get called a man hating bitch! Its uncomfortable.
i have to agree with you girls, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you dont. I've been called all sorts of names from guys who didnt like the response i sent them or that i didnt reply quick enough, im glad iv grown a thick skin over the last few months lol

I'm tired saying this.......... People need to understand if they send unsolicited mail the recipient is under no obligation to respond. Now if I put up a post saying 'I want people to mail me and do so repeatedly' yes then by rights I should respond. But if I said that most likely I'd not receive any mail........
Ok ladies we understand now....but how many girls have sent a first message to a guy and did,nt get a responce....not bloody many......its just a lot harder for guys as not as many girls out there...I personally send a (hi I'm mark etc) ,I'm not rude nor do I ask for meets for nsa fun etc. I do it to mainly say hi, get to know girls, have a laugh, bit of banter and don't expect sex at all. Just trying to get to know people and be friendly that's all.......but hey don't get me wrong if its the right ladie and the banter is going the right way of course ill ask if she,d like to go for a drink or coffee etc. wink

Never the less you did say that those of us who don't respond are rude....... perhaps it is rude to make blanket statements. Having spoken with you Mark I am positive you didnt intend to cause offence but you choose to send your mail without invitation, you just have to take the chance that it might not be responded to ,,,,,,, it's a fact. To avoid feeling you have wasted your time composing a personalised contact email you could consider making a template email, detailing what you want to display about you and asking the person to respond if interested, no response taken as no interest. From that point forward you can give that person individual emails.
OH AND FOR THE RECORD: I don't open the door to door-to-door sales people..... How rude is that!
..Knows what house not to call to with the 'free' demonstration of the 'Thrust master 3000'...:evil2:
I'll only open the door if you dangle it in the letter box first!
Never used the word rude, siad manners,ok the same I suppose. I did,,nt set out to cause any offence ,just giving my opinion. ...As for uninvited messages, how does a newbie for instance make contact with peeks specifically a male looking for females for instance if no 1 sends him a message.....as for template messages I personally find these cold as depending on my mood, depends on what I may write...........as for door to door sales people ,how do you know for sure that they are door to door sales people without opening that door....fair enought I'm sure some peeps get a lot of mail a lot of frm men and I'm sure it gets annoying. I myself have sent more than 1 message without reply but always just to say hi as I'm sure a lot just get maybe the first message was,nt at the rite time.......as I siad no offence was intended and am just trying to be friendly and make friends and have a laugh..

WKnock knock midnight........I'm mark from the peace pipe factory, would you be interested in buying a drag frm one of our special peace pipes and at a reduced cost to such a pretty beautiful lady like yrself? ????????
Mark hun my responses are just discussions on a topic, not a personal argument, if so it would not be carried out on a public forum. No need for a peace pipe and I gave up smoking - AGAIN - in January. These topics are ways for us to put forward our points of view and our reasons for some behaviours that we might not get the chance to discuss otherwise.... I agree templates are highly impersonal, but you could put that on your template.... 'You interest me, would you like to talk, my name is mark and I ............' Now you mailed me, and I did respond; you have to agree that your presence on the forums has made you known to me, I already had an impression formed. Like it or not had I not been previously aware of you and you mailed me, it would have gone unanswered. And much like the chicken and the egg, which came first; did some people have 'bad manners' (as someone else puts it) when they joined the site, or have these 'bad manners' developed as a result of experiences on the site. For the record, I used to answer ALL mail. As for door-step sales people, you can spot them a mile away!Like the canvassing politicians they only call when you're on the loo or have the first forkfull of dinner in your mouth.
Ok mid I agree with wat you just siad......it was a hurried untaught out reply and the word manners was,nt ment to offend.I understand older members are prob fed u with all the same mail day in day out....but what about the newbies trying to make contact.I sent a lot of mails before got a responce and as a single male it gets very frustrating and there have been times were I taught,,,why do I bother may as well give up,log out but I understand rome was,nt built in a day and you have put the work you did reply and its nice to get them as a male because they are few and far....guess wat I should have siad was (nothing ),,ah let's put it to bed.... ment to offend and am sorry if I did offend......just saying give the newbies a chance (say hi) is what I should have siad
The fact that a little scumbag got off with murder after shooting a man dead in cold blood. If he had shot some rich guy in Foxrock he'd have been found guilty of murder.
Had a run in with siad scumbag only last sep, witnessed him ditch a robbed moterbike, guards came then he came back and claimed it was stolen frm his garden with his friends of course....was working outdoors alone they had a go at me,taught id told on them, which I had,nt....told me he,d shoot me. ..now I did tell him were to go and id stick gun up his arse...but half hour later was telling the guy I was doing job for the know all about the MURDER,and told me siad scumbag was terrorize, ing the neighbourhood had a gun and would use no probs as he knew he'd be going dwn. The skinny ugly little shite......but goes to show you never know who yr messing with as I taugh he just a big mouth kid.....in a way, so wished I had of given him a few slaps....but then again I prob would have got done for it
