What makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up? Is it a song? or maybe one of those moments? The first time I heard the frames sing, "everytime" I thought it was the most beautiful cover version ever. I love it,:inlove: google it if you havent heard it
Well song wise 'Run' By snow patrol does it to me, a woman tracing her fingers slowly along my back has the same effect
Two songs... Halleluiah..Kd Lang.. Til the sun turns lamontage.
Listening to my friend Brian sing Elvis songs for me - even Elvis would have bother knowing it wasn't himself!!
And also the song "Winter White Hymnal" by the Fleet Foxes - only song I've loved enough to download from t'Internet!!!
:P when i was a kid dusty springfield used to give me goose bumps .anytime i heard her on the telly didnt matter what she was singing,i thought i heard her singing again recently ,until i looked at the telly and it was duffy, man that girl opens her mouth and the spirit off dusty belts out and gives me shivers all over again .:inlove:
When this thread first appeared and most of the replies focussed on songs, I wondered about it all. I could never remember many songs having that effect. Yes, I have favourites, but I don't literally physically react to them. Last night, by coincidence, I heard Katherine Jenkins live in the Waterfront Hall. Yes she looks good, but it wasn't that. One or two of her more emotional songs really produced a sensation that went down the back of my neck and shoulders in waves. Marvellous singer. Rgds CH
Oh so many songs do it to me.... I'm with Marie partly - Fleet Foxes are a shivery kind of band but its the track Ragged Wood that does it to me. How it Ends - Devotchka Somebody Will Know Someday - Cuby & The Blizzards (in case you're going who the feck - they are a somewhat obscure Dutch 60's band - first wave psychadelic/blues - the vocal on it is just one of the best blues vocals I have found in years! - Only ended up downloading it because I was looking for a track by The Blizzardsmadeye:blink) Tijuana Lady - Gomez I could go on and on and on and on....... If something makes me shiver the first time I hear it, it will have the same effect everytime I listen to it and listen to it I will - over and over again (quite often to Andy's disgust as our musical tastes vary somewhat:lol2smile Jax:inlove::smoke:
