Warming the Bed
does anyone else have problems when trying to connect a webcam in chat rooms? i get 'a problem caused the program to stop working properly'! does anyone have any ideas? matt

have you checked that the webcam you are using is fully compatible with Windows 7?

I'm having the same problem, I switched over to Mozilla browser just encase it was IE and it crashed that when I clicked on the cam sad

have had similar probs with different windows systems to these can be trial and error at times, some cases cam needs to be plugged in on boot up, while others you plug in after boot up, this may not solve the problem, but major factor which does effect a majority of computers is system updates which seem to make things crawl at times and when you try to use addionially resources such as web cams they normally crash out sad again this is not the answer, but it may be a cpl of things you can try out.

Im using win7 a while now after ditching the dreaded Vista, and i still have issues if i use IE so like alot others i use Mozilla and it works fine. If you are brave you can use Google Chrome, but it has no safety features at all(to make it faster) so make sure your anti virus and fire wall is upto date
