For non-emergency treatment, where life is not at risk use ice to reduce swelling. You can also use a "skeeter stik", which are also often used to relieve pain and itching. If you don't have such a stick, use some diluted ammonia. put milk on it.. it stings at first but after a few minutes it will feel better and the pain will go smile
thanks raven will try anything at this stage
I know how you feel i was stung badly when i was young and now have a serious allergy to stings and if i got one bad enough i would go into anaphaltic shock or how ever you spell it lol
A paste made from bread soda and a bit of water put directly on the sting helps draw the poison out that causes all the mad pain.
Epony, correct cure, u got there before me  I removed a wasp's nest a month ago and the buggers attacked me too:upset: Maddub, chin up, hope the cure works kiss
vinegar also works too!!

One cure for wasps....old bogger remedy...one pile of dry hay(an armful is about right) can of diesel, place near wasps nest, douse hay with diesel and light , and watch the little yellow b*****ds burn!!! or 'Waspocalypse now' as I like to call it...... Prevention is better than cure.
