I just popped on here to check the mailbox, and as always also went to "My Favourites" to see what everyone is up to. And I had the loveliest experience.
As we're still quite new to this, usernames have, so far, been just that - usernames. Lines of text on a screen. This morning, as I went through the list, I kept smiling: I'm starting to have memories attached to each of these names. It's exchanges of jokes and banter in the chat room, or exchanged emails, or, here and there, memories of face-to-face meetings. Whatever the connection is, the fact remains that the usernames are becoming people, for the most part only briefly glimpsed, but touching my life nevertheless.

I know just what you mean and as Head says its funny how you reconise someone from a chatroom and then in real life they are even nicer its lovely to be able to sit and chat about our other life and know nobody is thinking what kind of people are they we have been very lucky with the people we have met all lovely xxx
