Hi, I am the male half of a couple who have a profile on here, I use this profile when I am browsing on my own so as not to false advertise so to speak!
I am thinking of having a vasectomy soon and am wondering if anyone has had any negative experiences such as chronic (ie long term) ball ache and/ or erection problems. I would be truly heartbroken if I was to lose my mojo over what should be a straightforward procedure.
Any positive feedback would be good too.
Does the volume you produce reduce after the op for example?
Thanks
:Papart from having balls like turnips for a week or so its not that still blow the same load only theres no swimmers in it so to speak ,its over 20yrs since i had mine done and its never affected my mojo apperantly nhs gp,s can do it without a hospital visit
ah feck that Tussey.....if someones chopin at me bits i wanna be aselep for it ffs:eeek:
I had it done nearly 9 years ago now, and,to be honest,,it's the best thing I ever got done!
Never ever a problem with erections,or anything else. The nuts were a bit sore for 2 or 3 days after alright, but,,that was it ,And they may go a bit blue/purple. Pain was very mild.
Whole thing from start to finish, including the cup of tea afterwards was less than an hour!
Some men won't entertain the idea,as they think it makes them "less of a man". I done it,As We were happy and set with the family that We have, and,it was a case of Me,or Mrs CorkHot getting it done,,and NO way on this earth,in this lifetime,Would I let My Lady go through what is to a Female,,a huge operation.
For the sake of My 45 mins or so,,It was So well worth it..
The volume in My case did not drop at all,,and,,for the sake of it,,the whole thing was done under "Local" anestheic.
If anything,,your sex life will get a whole lot better.
Hope this helps?
Liam..

Hi again, a year today since original thread and i got it done in December 09. Took pre emptive painkillers before and after and had no problem at all, no pain, little discomfort and back in action within a couple of days. I am sending off second sample this week for analysis and should have the all clear then. Thanks for taking the time to post on this thread everyone.
Jusr do it mr lucan mrs L will thanks you.
speaking of which i am still waiting for invite to meet mrs L.
Only I could use a vasectomy thread to try to get into someones knickers. I am such a slut.
Muldern...and only I would use a thread on vasectomy to give a caution on sti's.....lol
I make no apologies for admitting to catching chlamidiya 3 yrs ago from a guy who had had a vasectomy. For one thing it made me much more careful and indeed religious about attending for sexual health check ups....which in itself I cant recommend enough.
But this guy complained about some discomfort in his sac which he put down to his vasectomy.....but as it turns out....was a male sympton of the STD!!!
fair point desdemona. in my case if i had an std i would no longer have any testicles or penis.
Yes Mrs M is that kind of woman.
The only thing that scares me more than Mrs M is not having her around.
My brother got it done after helping populate half of Ireland lol, he did notice a reduction in the thickness of his sperm :high-smile:
Teddy is for the chop too and has no problem with it as he knows i will take good care of him cause he did when i got neutered lol
I have to ask why do people think because a man or woman is sterilised it is ok to have unprotected sex? Mona was very honest and if that isn't a wake up call nothing is. Well done Mona for your honesty and high lighting the issue.
Well done all, to be honest we found this thread very interesting. We're currently discussing this. Herself has suggested she get something done but I dont have a problem with me getting snipped.
We havent as yet done research but it looks like from here its a fairly ardous and complicated thing for a woman?
I lost a Testicle many years ago and I have always had a close affinity to the last man standing if you know what I mean. However we have kids now and don't want more so I dont have a problem getting it done, just a bit apprehensive. If its easy for us men I say why not. Over the years I have noticed that the female sex is a complicated being and runs on a fine fine balance.. last thing I would like is my wonderful girl being put into pain or complication because I didn't step up I guess.
After loosing the testicle, many moons ago, I lost a little mojo and it did take what was a trusting and sexy ex GF to bring it back, but that too was a different time and I was a younger maybe a bit more self conscious man.
Anyway I'd say before the summer we'll move on it as its currently in discussion..
Your advice was great however and if you have anymore send on..
Mr Aon
A little bit of a diversion -I have a brother who had a vasectomy 14 years ago and all was fine - however he split from his wife and remarried and his new wife wanted kids so he had the operation reversed - successfully too and they went on to have 2 kids and are now expecting their third. Why am I saying this??? Well I guess just to say go and have your vasectomy because it is not the end and can be reversed if desired -at a cost of course but what's new in that.
Good luck with it anyway and it is a courageous thing to do.
just a quick line to add my twopence
i got it done myself about three years ago.
no problems since just great sex, spur of the moment stuff lol
i would suggest you get it done on a thursday or friday and you can have the weekend to r&r as you may need it. (feels like you got a unreal kick in the you know whats ohhhhh)
Personally i got it done on a friday and had to go and do site work on monday, man i was sore, thought monday would never end lol
all good now though.
feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions though i would warn you i not a vasectomy expert i was only the patient.
ahhhh was a long time ago and a long way away xxxxxxxx anny
