Anyway, in honour of your patron saints day we will be having one or two rounds dedicated to Irish music and musicians, including the diddly-eye brigade, so you can bone up on that for a start dora!

Ok ..... so far there are 10 contestants registered, half of the spots are taken. There are some folks (at least 6 that we can remember)who played last week that haven't put their names down yet, so if I catch them in chat today or tomorrow this number may well rise - book early to avoid disappointment lol. We need to do this so we can prepare answer sheets to make it easier for los to keep score.
This week los will NOT be hanging in the Beach Bar for stragglers...and if ur name ain't down you ain't coming in. We will be starting at on the(ish) - the room (tbags) will be open from about There are gonna be 3 rounds of first lines and 3 rounds of beat the intro, and a new round called "connections" - maybe 1 or 2 more depending on how much we get done between now and then. As previously mentioned there will be 2 rounds with an Irish theme - 1 from each category - and at least 1 other themed round. No "what year was it?" this week, still working out a better way to do it as there was a little confusion last week.

Phew been swotting all day, I honestly think both Dora and myself have a really good chance tonight...

Also a big thanks to Escapade :inlove: for sorting us out with an audio round, as the lappy decided it was deaf and dunb 10 mins before the start ffs:hunk:. Hopefully that will be sorted before next week, otherwise his email box is gonna be full of very short mp3's for beat the intro lol.:karaoke:
It did seem that on the whole we set the bar a little too high - even Titan only got 50% of the questions right - so we will try and make it a little easier next week for the blondes out there:giveup:. We are gonna set a maximum number of players next week...probably jax will struggle to keep score otherwise, and a couple of the rounds need the rules sorting out, but other than that (and the technical glitch) we were very happy with the way it went.:thumbup:
So if you wanna play next week let us know here :notes: .....those who played this week will have first dibs on a seat for next week, but that should still leave 8 or 10 seats open for the newbies.
