On another discussion forum elsewhere someone, supposedly a stranger, asked for recommendations on the top 10 UK TV comodies. Within a short time about 40-50 people had offered their favourites and campained for a few others that everyone else seemed to be ignoring. I got sucked into the whole idea and posted my list which, more or less in order of preference, was:
Open All Hours
Father Ted
Fawlty Towers
Jeeves and Wooster
Black Books
Mr Bean
Blackadder
Porridge
Only Fools and Horses
Last of the Summer Wine
Does anyone else agree, or have strong views on good UK comodies which I have left out? All comments welcome.
Regards

Well, if a chap's going to get it wrong, he may as well do it several times and do it consistently! lol. Apologies for the typo "comodies", which I've managed to shove 2-3 times into this thread already, where I really should have written "comedies". I guess most people knew what I meant.
