Just want to wish a friend who was a member all the best and let her know she will be missed xxxxx
Sorry but slightly pointless Thread if you won't/can't say who it is as we can't wish them well. sad
Know who you mean Raven, I wish them well also biggrin
Zaza i dont want to inflame an already issue but she has many friends here who wish pass on our best to her.
I'd be inclined to agree with Zaza, In this Modern age I am sure there's plenty of other forms of communication for them to get there messages of goodwill across to the recipient. Next thing we'll have ads up selling second hand carspoke
Another pointless thread to add to the pile. Seriously... what was the point (unless to rack up the numbers of postings which is a common enough thing on this site believe it or not). Am sure you can ring or text your 'friend' to wish her all the best, can you not?
 maybe thats the point - bore everyone into submission so no one dare venture into the forums ever again- mmmm think its actually working!
hi raven i agree she will be missed xxxxx
Poor newbies must be baffled with all these cyptic message about the 'un-named' member. No wonder they give up....
If someone leaves or has been banned/cancels account etc can they still check the forums? If they can they probably will so just let it be and stop the negativity. If the person can see someone has said goodbye to them through the forums then I suppose there is no harm in using the forums to do so. Anyway, theres worse jibberish on the forums (such as member posting private details about their private lives etc), so one thread of something nice is good
Anyone on t'Internet who so wishes - can see everything on the Forums and Profiles - you don't need a profile to perve here!
Titan you've made me look cold! poke:uhoh: I didn't mean to sound offensive if I did. Literally just meant I would view it as pointless where, if I was to come along and add my good-wishes, - it would have been nicer to do so - to wish them well knowing who it was. That's all. I don't know why peeps are adding their view-points about other things. It's o/t. biggrin

I don't need to rack up numbers of posts, and as it has been pointed out non members can view the forums.
Sorry but turning a well meant thread into a bitch fest is very pointless and quite rude, has there not been enough bitching here? All i ask is for people who want to post here to send their good wishes be able to do so without been subjected to such nastiness.
Thanks
My whole point of the 'pointless thread' post was to highlight how silly i thought it was not to mention your 'friends' name. I am sure we all know who you are talking about why not say it??????? banghead Ah sure, I know you dont need to rack up your numbers Raven, its not a competetion (or did i miss that thread).
I think its an excellent thread, and I am very sorry to hear the member left the site. Still, you cant keep a good member down!
Would it be possible for this thread to be locked as what was started as gesture of good will to a friend who can still see the forums, i feel is turning into a thread of nastiness and as i can rise above immature behaviour i do not feel others can and to save more upset to members please lock this thread. Thank you in advance.
