founds this on the BBC news site & it got me thinking...how do you view Sundays, family day , fun day or shopping day
"Sundays used to be a bit of a bore when I was younger and at school. Sundays represented homework day, as it was always inevitably left until Sunday! It also for me was the day I tried to stay in my pyjamas and in bed for as long as I could get away with, with my mum trying to get me up at regular intervals! Sundays felt slow and boring because you couldn't do anything, nothing was open, and it became the day to do things that you had put off all week!
As kids, we were quite often dragged around in really bad-fitting, Sunday-best clothes, to old flea-bitten relatives who would quite often spit in there hankies and wipe away any invisible marks on our bodies that they thought they had a God-given right to remove. Also, to have a large Sunday dinner which we were quite often forced to eat then within two hours or less, a rather large "tea" would then be prepared and subsequently force-fed again"
And on the 7th day, God said, "thou shalt have sex and feck the mass-going begrudgers".
This was the 11th Commandment that was written on the stone tablet that Moses had shattered in his rage on Mt. Sinai. Alas, when picking up the pieces, he failed to spot the stone chard carrying the final commandment.
It might be an idea to organise a pilgrimage to Mt. Sinai to retrieve this most important of graven images.
Sunday is a perfect lazy day here, up early walk the dog, collect papers, breakfast, back to bed with some good music in the background.. Late dinner and quiet or absent kids
Newbie's day is without doubt how I would choose to spend the day, they don't happen too often for me, but when they do I sure enjoy them..
Ahh yes those heady days when we first got married go to bed on Friday and get up monday morning for work. save for eating and a shower together it was sex sex a little TV and enough food to keep us alive then more sex.
And then we had kids........................... Life changed forever.

Sundays are what grand parents are for ... send the kids to be spoilt & have a sleep over ...
Sundays for Padd's are a day of leisure, reading the Post, Tribune and the Times, catching up on the week, checking his shares! and not reading the scam rags that are printed for all to gossip about.
That said, I also call text and ring some of my Buds on here too.
Sunday or as some call it Sinday, is a day of leisure (but thats private!)

TGIS (it sunday) ... unfortunately the weather is crap, so I don't feel bad about sitting having a long relaxing breakfast, reading the papers & enjoying the Sunday morning radio programs ... before watching the spectacle that is the All Ireland Hurling ... & then a nice roast sunday dinner .... and then the week begins again ... but without the week could we appreciate the weekend.
For me Sunday is another work day, which been single, isn't always an issue.....
But when with someone, its a day to spoil my partner with breakfast in bed, followed by some fun......then relax in eachothers arms while soaking in the bath......
