it wud be nice if sum of the rules were even altered like yous have already the said the caps one and the whispering and ye making a permanent directing room so ppl dont have to set one up they can just enter it.
just want to add that ye mods discretion is all well and good but what one mod mind find offensive another might not as every ones views and opinions are diff... so where wud we stand on this
just want to say also from previous experience of our own we are very surprised some ppl have gotten away with what they have....

You mention mods discretion being is why i stick with the rules im given.
A guy imfriendly with pon chat used caps one night,i warned him and he did it agaiun so i kicked only saying this to show that consistancy is needed with the rules regardless of what they are.
Im all for a perminant directing for is a swing site an dthats part and parcel of im all for that.
The ignore facility is the best option with regards to whispers.
Consistancy in modding is vital an dits def not happenin gat the not saying my way is best.I am saying that an agreement between admin and mods has to be made with regards to rules and there enforcment and then thats it,no excuses,no why or mights or maybes.
Also and it is impostant to point this exsisting rules with the exception of caps at times are not that difficult to follow.

Just another suggestion...not on rule changes but on a rebuild...if this happens...
I have been to a site where if you are having a private conversation with someone...a new window appears with that conversation in it...likewise if you had three private conversations going on...i was never that popular but someone told me about this...lol...you had three seperate smaller windows...one for each conversation....
It would beat the hassle of going away from the computer and when you come back you've got to search out whispers amongst the rest of the posts....
Incidently...if someone whispered to you... a new window opened with their post in it and that was where the 'ignore' button was....
Just a suggestion....by the way any truth in the rumour that this site might go the way of its sister site in Uk and go pay access....I know its another rumour and looking at the acuracy of the last rumour i mentioned... :-o....okay time to shut up...

As for Moderators/Members not all following the same rules ,It may not just be the rules as printed it is also the way they are interpreted ,hence the way on any given day one person can be warned or kicked or banned depending on what Moderator is taking the action . :-?
