Not sure what it would involve or mean for swing4ireland to make the forums and swing parties private to paying members but would like the sites opinion on it..... this isnt a rant against the site as the site is coming on leaps and bounds...however of late there have been many Meet and Greets exposed to the hotels involved and to the papers etc .... not only is this going to pose a threat to expose people ..at the very least it is a financial impact to people who pay well earned money booking hotels and with short notice cancellation no refunds..... I really think its time the forums and partys section are only visible to paid members to reduce access to the public who are not on the site as a member....
I totally agree should be only visible for paying members to see.
While your suggestions are very valid, it does not stop people if they so wish in joining up and exposing parties meets etc.. It happened a few years ago in one of the 'Red tops' and the particular site that the photos etc were taken from was a members ONLY site, but it still managed to get into the public domain!! Its no big deal these days, while yes a two bit local paper decided to run with a 'Story' I would almost put money on it that the National newspapers would have had NO interest in it..
Outside access to stuff on this site is limited, NO ONE can see private pictures OR any photos that have been classified as Adult.
I think its just feeding into the intellect that all swingers are sex starved, sordid sleezy people by putting stuff like that 'secret'.
Sex will always sell yes but I do think the Media have tired of swingers stories of late.. Who would have thought 5 yrs ago that the lady who was on the late late show speaking about her parties would have happened.
Just my opinion
Temps I would agree with you on most points but back to Mrs Hots post....what are we paying for...yes non paying members cant view cams etc but that trial was only to last a wile and is still ongoing....I ust think if people had to pay it would reduce not get rid of the exposure risk
