I am one of that dreaded group that is the "single male", what can we do to improve our image? Ladies and couples help us to reform, the majority of us are nice guys. reading thru the profiles and forums they are in many cases as welcome as a "fart n a spacesuit". That said many single males do themselves no favours, in the chatrooms as they come across pushy, rude, full of bravado and with no manners. Is there a 12 step program? I am sure many of us would like to know the views of the women and couples that use this site.
Twelve Steps
1 Read the rules :small-print:
2 Dont be rude :censored:
3 Read profiles :small-print:
4 Dont assume every female is here just to shag you boink
5 If giving measurements .. buy a proper ruler !!:giggle:
6 Remember no means no .. it does not mean try harder
7 Make conversation in rooms .. fancy a fuck does not count :wank:
8 Put effort into mails ..as above fancy a fuck does not count :fuckinghell:
9 Grant us the respect we deserve :rose:
10 When writing mails .. remember we are not thick and can spot a standard (sent to all ) message a mile off evil
11 When were on cam .. get your tits out for the boys does not count as a chat up line
12 Save above steps to a word pad and read them before you log on !!!innocent
A sex change??? innocent :giggle:
Not a bad set of rules Bi-ath but might I suggest it apply to all users of the chatrooms not just the men. The female equivalent of the annoying single male is the female who mistakes all the attention she gets in a chatroom for real affectionas opposed to morons looking for tits out, and acts the prima donna as a result. Maybe I am old fashioned but I kinda work out who is a moron from talking and listening to them rather than because they have tackle between their legs !
Tom I agree I think it should apply to all members and I have to say I agree with you with the prima donna remark ,some females go way over the top but that also applies to single males who after getting a meet with one of the high profile females and suddenly thinks hes number one stud ..I think if people act like normalish humans and remove their heads from their ass they will get on grand :giggle:
If you see yourself as a member of a dreaded group on a swing site, should you not question why you are here? Am sorry but surely we should all be able to deal with rejection, it happens to everyone at some stage.. Swing4ireland may be primarily female dominated, but respect should be granted to all members, not just single females, the moderators are excellent nipping abuse in chat in the bud.. Mails can be deleted , if abuse takes place then should be reported, same with camming if comments go beyond the one off, then the moderators can intervene.
Bi  you are such a fountain of knowledge spread it all over us:thrilled:
Great rules Bi...u should copy and paste in chatroom might be handy for you! I definately think there is a place for single guys but due to the fact that there is so many of them the genuine really nice guys dont get a look in which is a pity. Havent said that I myself dont go looking for single guys so to speak but there has been occassions where I find I do 'click' them them and have chemistry and that makes for great meets. But in all honesty about 80% of people just look at the pictures on profiles and dont read the given critera of the profiler. But as I found myself..things can change with respect to what we are looking for and I will be in future more open to getting to know the person behind the persona. I am a relative newbie to this site but thats my tupence worth!
Fair point Alan...in our origanal advert we didnt omit single males we have since had to do so as we were getting so many mails with as BI put it"wanna fuck".We have absolutely no problem with single males and will always chat with those who are polite and respectful as for meeting with a single male again we would have to have established a level of trust and some mental connection before hand.I cant answers for all couples obviously but that is our situation hope you get some understanding of were we are coming from...S&T kisswave
Just had to add the twelve steps came from me :giggle: and are not actually swing4 rules and did not come from admin ... just common sense I think .
VERY GOOD POINTS FOR ALL SWINGERS... DEADLY POST :thrilled:
Firstly I would like to thanks Bi-atch for the 12 steps, and I think they are applicable to all users of the chatrooms. I put this thread up not becasus I have had problems but because I felt it was an issue that needed to be discussed and might be of help to the new users & in particular the single guys. I think for new users it is useful to have guidelines, many newbies may feel that the normal "cut & thrust" & slagging that goes on in the chatrooms is the way to chat with people, they don't know is that many of those in the chatrooms are well known to one another thru hours in the chatrooms, meetings etc. There is of course alot of bravado by chatters and then there is the drunk chat ... as dangerous as a drunk text. Personally I have managed to chat to people and by in large found all chatters to be courtious, but I have also opted not to enter some rooms as I did not like the tone of the chat, but that is just me
