a small straw poll but the "shaven" win out for the guys and galls ... now the question is what is the best method ... creams, wax, razor and what is the best after shave balm
My current method Alan: 1) Hair Clippers - remove bulk (plus minor vibe bonus) 2) Razor - must be very clean & sharp - gentle on the up stroke 3) Sudocream/Teatree oil/King of Skin massage bar from LUSH
Veet, formally known as immac
getting my partner to shave it , much better result than when I do it myself, and ive been using dettol antiseptic cream find it better than any gel , ive sensitive skin and this really helps
Gillette venus with the balm are brill but there is an oil called Azulene oil which you apply after shaving which stops red bumps rashes etc...its available in Boots btw and it also slows down growth
I Had a ladyfriend shave mine a few months back and jaysus twas an awful looking site and I had to put moisturising metrosexual crap on it, sure it fel grand and must say It added a bit to the fun but was a bit high maintence. I just keep It trimmed now, I think the key thing is moisturise the daylights out of yer bits, and sure if yer so inclined ya can get a secondary benefit while at itbolt
hey guys, i recently in a moment of madness decided to shave my manly bits. Used a mach 3 razor. It deffo feels weird but i like it. Just wondering though what can you do to stop all the itching. I have a very active job which requires a lot of running about each day and its like i have flea's im scratching so much(not in public of course)lol..... Would be really greatful if someone could help me on this. Thanks Chucky
curious the longer you are shaving the more the itch will go into decline... doingregular shaves you will find you have no itch. hope that helps...and def use something afterwards to sooth the skin.
well on the odd occasion i've deforested meself I have found that the final scrape is easier if you use not shaving foam or soap, but moisturiser or baby lotion. It really helps with the razor burn when ur going "against the grain" of the hair, although the act of moisturising ur bits can, as Titan said, provoke a "response" lol. I actually find that being hard helps to make all the hairs around the base easier to get to - well thats my story and I'm sticking to it! I found it a little weird to start with being shaved...looks a bit like the last chicken in the butchers window if ye ask me...but I love the feeling, and as the girls have said the more you shave the easier it gets and the less rash and itching you will have.
As a guy, my method is: first a pass with a Philips BodyGroom electric thingy, and then my trusted mach 3. Works suprisingly well even on the wrinkly parts. That said, I really don't like how it all looks completely shaved. Short trim above, and shave on the aforementioned wrinkly parts works so much better. Lack of hair does make them very sensitive as well, mmmm.
Gives it a run over with the Mach3 every night in the shower. No itch and always nice and smooth .....:grin
