Do People really read profiles or just head for the pictures? My guess is Pics come first!
My experience shows the latter, I recently removed all pics from my profile apart from my boxers Pic and my Muttley Avatar, But spent time over my Profile, explaining to fellow members about me.
Now some will know about me, I don't do the big Meet and Greet thing, but prefer more intimate meets, that said, I do aim to Go to one of Marie's meets, simply because Marie, is a great person, she not only goes out of her way too to help people on the site, but helps them interact with others. (Marie Kiss).
My Profile clearly states, who I am, What I am here for and my expectations do I still have too endure stupid, idiotic whispers, people that add you to their favourites???
I Prefer to never dissable whispers. Yes I do periodically post the following in the chatroom: the SITE's AUP RULES
purely to remind Newbies in the absence of a MOD in the chat, about the rules!.
Back to my Question, in your opinion, do members read profiles?

Profiles, do People read them?
no padds people dont read profiles because on mine it clearley states that when im looking for a meet il ask somone ,but my mailbox is always full with guys asking for a meet ,so i dont answer them ,in my eyes if they read the profile theyd no ,people seem to think theyd like to meet people going on there pics alone ,whet ever happened to chatting to somone first .

now seriously Padds some do some don't those who annoy you with their mails obviously don't, others who do read your profile .... well you prob don't know about them. Some of the more impatient members tend to go to pics if they like them, simply hit PM link and there you go. This way I imagine you can send 100 letters per hour :lol We are talking about human nature here. Ignore, delete and smile.

lol Mr-me how dare you have a life and not 1000 posts, the shame. But yeah i have to agree with you, most profiles are full of shite and the only way to really get to know what people are like is chatting to them. I tend to read a profile before i'll chat to someone i'd like to meet, but i stop reading profiles after the "we're an extremely attractive couple" part. Translated = We're up our own holes.
Don't count on geting that buscuit before i do tho mr me lol

Yes, you always get to know people in chat, but like has been said, when I see people saying we are attractive, I turn off.
I know my own limitations and I am always honest in my profile by stating I may not be everyone's cup of tea

Nothing worse than engaging in chat with someone, only for later they come back and....sorry....but not what i am looking for:upset: Yes I read profiles thoroughly and once upon a time I wrote a very detailed one of my own specifying what I was looking for from this site, only to recieve 2 very abusive emails from 2 couples who said I was too fussy and therefore would not get anywhere on this site (obviously never read my comments

I have changed mine Loads of times, I think we all have changing requirements.
To add to Head's comment, I reckon they are checking out the competition...either that or they might be not telling us the complete truth
