I would assume that the password facility is there to allow whomever you wish ,into a room whihc has being created.
If no password exists then ppl are entitled under the rules of this site to travel freely between rooms without the risk of being kicked bar but by a mod.
In other words,password your private rooms,otherwise ppl are entitled to enter them.
Thats just a longwinded way of saying get a life,
