I have just been watching a program on Cosmetic (Plastic) Surgery & it got me thinking.
Botox, Boobs, Noses, Eyes & Ears are common place, but it appears no part of the body cannot have some work done, so a question for guys & girls
1- would you consider cosmetic surgery ?
2- is there any procedure you would not consider ?
3- how much cosmetic surgery is too much ?
4- how young is too young for cosmetic surgery? (Girls as young as 16 are having boob & nose jobs, as birthday presents!!!)
5- Is there an age after which you should not have surgery?
I would have to say no, the only way you would get me under the scalpel is if there was something threatening my health. I'm a firm believer in 'if it's not broken dont try fix it'.
I have seen some horrendous results of plastic surgery with friends and also on tv, that said I have seen some great results but for me and my opinion would be no I would not consider nor have plastic surgery done.
dont think much of plastic surgery and no matter how much surgery u get if u dont have a good personallity y bother.
for me personality is every thing not the looks
1- would you consider cosmetic surgery ? Yes
2- is there any procedure you would not consider ? Face lift
3- how much cosmetic surgery is too much ? When you look Pete Burns
4- how young is too young for cosmetic surgery? (Girls as young as 16 are having boob & nose jobs, as birthday presents!!!) 16 is too young only if it is for medical reasons
5- Is there an age after which you should not have surgery? That should be a personal choice.
I think only in the event of injury or damage would Possibly want to do it. Not just because I'm was not happy with what nature gave me. A great majority (I know not all) of natural issues can be fixed naturally. That's just me personally.
I think the most major problem with plastic surgery is the ethos of the surgeons. Not all are from the same cloth. The likes of Pete Burns should have never been allowed to go that far. But when you have a few pounds in your pocket you will always find some doctor willing to just about anything.
Or like Mickey Rourke...he wanted to repair some facial damage he received from boxing and ended up looking like Pete Burns' sister. I guess the bottom line for me is only if truly necessary.
have to say no i would not happy the way god made me xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I watched a programme during the week called "The ugly side of beauty" it showed an interview with some 16 year old boys and girls, they all said they felt they needed plastic surgery , from bigger boobs to liposuction, I thought what a shame that they felt at such a young age that they needed plastic surgery.
To me they were all beautiful young people but to themselves there was a sense of self loathing , I just found the whole programme sad , and when they showed the things that go wrong I said to myself , no way I will stay the way I am warts and all .
