Why is it that couples won't meet the male half of a couple alone ( in most cases ), but are more than happy for the female half to join them ?(again in most cases ).
Is it that people have a problem with potential cheating males but when meeting a female half the thought doesn't even seem to surface.

Meeting half of a couple
Most cpls will want to meet other cpls only but there is a few single guys will chance their luck , we know as we met with a guy and when my other half was out of the room the guy had said about meeting me on my own but i think you can guess my answer to that one.
But there is cpls will meet single people but it's on the cpls terms not the guy's terms.

Interesting alan, I can't explain the psychology of it so I won't even try.
All I will say, and been honest here. Oh, bear in mind that we are a straight couple and we don't do 3sum's.
I would feel a lot more comfortable if we were meeting a girl to join us for fun than I would a guy.
On the other hand, herself would feel more comfortable if it were a guy and not a gal.
We both take the opposite view on this one.
However, we do go on single meets...so neither the guys [or the gals!] lose out with us..

I often wonder when I read Couple profiles that say 'NO SINGLE MALES' if they are written by the straight male of the couple without consideration of the female partners views.
However I believe that females are more inclined to be Bi than males so it would be understandable that they would prefer to meet bi females. Most of the Couple profiles on here describe themselves as 'straight male' and 'bi female'
