Personally I think Men have a huge problem communicating their issues. It feels like a weakness to even admit there may be a problem...

despite all you have written I think you hit the nail with "communicating" ... although I think the younger guys are getting the message & do communicate their feelings, worries, issues & desires ... unfortunately there is still a macho culture that see "communicating" ...whether with male or female friends as a weakness, some women will even percieve it as a weakness ... so maybe if the women encouraged their guys to open up and talk ... small steps, but steps in the right direction ... for older guys like me I don't know if I can change years of cultural programming, but in 2010 I will try.
'A problem shared is a problem halved'
Am just too tired to read all the comments, but will say one thing, a real man accepts he is equal to a woman, and a real woman accepts she is equal to a man..:smoke:
well said Virgo ... the basis of a good relationship is equality so lets make 2010 the year to be equal
long i dont care if its a halo or armour, a good spit and polish is good for both lol Mulder did you ever think of using some kind of aid to keep it up lol, your halo that is:haha:
..a little spit and polish is good for more than armour and halos:giggle::giggle:
Lovebird, perhaps I am wrong but I think if there is equality in a relationship then , communications, respect & honesty are a given. But you are right communications is the key. Start talking, it is not a weakness but the first step.
Equality is vital in a relationship as is communication and respect but the best basis for a relationship to work is friendship. You need to be best friends with your partner and everything else will follow.
I know it is long.....i`m an expert at a bit of spit and polishboink
 Nothing worse than a dry polishing Raven...shiver... I can feel it ouch...ouch
Try it when you are circumised longjon. OH jesus christ, it hurts it hurts. One lady I was with whose husband was uncircumised grabbed mine and gave it an unmerciful yank and then seemed surprised when I curled up in a ball on floor. Pass the lube please
I am not an animal I am a human being.
Oh Mulder teddy feels your pain. Why did you not grab his and yank till it came off:taz:
along4dride here , I think the male identity crisis was made up by men as an excuse not to do the dishes smile (disclaimer we have a dishwasher in case yummy reads this :) ) Seriously Things ave changed a lot in the last 10 years. Its going to take a longer time for that for people to get used to it. Especially men. However some things remain the same. Men and women are different but thats not a bad thing. I think that women now expect more in some ways from men like communication and emotional support and less of other things like financial support and security. Every relationship is different and what works for some doesn't work for others but we are getting to a point where its easier for those who don't conform to the norm to live their lives and this can only be a good thing. There are still some things that are the male domain such as carrying shopping bags, removing spiders/insects from the bath and world class sulking.
To be very fair here, men are changing for the better. I don't know what i would do without my teddy, he helps with the housework, cooking and all the other things that need doing around the place, and when i get a bout of cleaning ocd he minds our two little ones. And i would be so lost without the emotional support he gives me, when we lost our twins he couldn't do enough for me and was the best shoulder in the world to cry on and he wasn't afraid to cry in front of me. And through both of our pregnancy's he was amazing, back-rubs and going out in the middle of the night to get my cravings for me lol, and the best thing was he was there to hold my hand when our son was born by emergency section, the look on his face when he seen our son made the whole pregnancy worth while, and the tender kiss i got form him is one that i will remember for the rest of my life, with our daughter who was another section, and i so wanted a girl lol, he put up with me blubbering like a baby when we where told she was a girl and kept answering the same question over and over that yes it was a girl. As you may be able to tell i adore my teddy and wouldnt change him for anything, not even his bad moods and snoring lol Now that's a real man to me.
You are blessed raven. Anything else I could add would be superfluous

Alan stands in awe of Teddy worship ... I have some learning to do... should my daughters meet a man half as good as Teddy I would be happy. Crisis, what crisis ... as a father of girls I welcome the changes in guys ...it is preferable to be good friends & lovers.
He is one of a kind alright, just feel sorry for our daughter no man will be good enough for her in daddys eyes lol
no man is ever good enough for Daddys Girl ... maybe thats why they marry them ...
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts lovebird kiss:rose: Now whats this about having sex????:inlove:
