Thanks Guns - Yes, that's the one. I felt I was being attacked by a certain poster who seems to enjoy putting words in my mouth. I simply stated a definition and took no 'moral high ground'. I was aiming to clarify the matter before he mistakes me for a DUP Member - I vote Green.

I am so sorry, but I need to say it. Apologies again if I offend anyone but I can't stand it anymore. There is too much poor spelling here but this is what irritates me the most: "Your brilliant" "Your doing the right thing" "Your wrong and I'm right" Argh. Here we have the contraction of the words "you" and "are", which get to "you're" not "your" "You're brilliant" "You're doing the right thing" "You're wrong and I am right" :giggle: I see this mistake in so many posts that I started doubting myself! And then I started writing "your" in emails and messages  "Your" is a possessive pronoun. Is that your car? Your phone is on the table Heck, even "your place or mine?" passionkiss There, I said it. I had sat on my hands sillyhwoar: for months now but it really, really gets to me. Sorry. :rose:
You are so right sexy. But sometimes we answer the post so quickly we do not bother with the correct grammar as most people know what we are talking about. I even did a spell check on this:thrilled:

Whilst I agree that text talk on the site is not the best to read, there are others who simple cannot spell, others that simply make mistakes, others that are dyslexic.
Yes spell check is there but not everyone uses it.
I myself have make alot of 'typos' nobody is perfect, even as pointed out its grammar not grammer :lol2:
Have a great weekend
Well spotted " grammer as opposed to grammar" it was intentional. . . Nice to see somebody reads my posts . . For the record. . . I teach reading and writing skills, voluntarily . . . . .

relics ... Sure everyone knows there are no virgins near BT's
as for Valentine I always believed he was in Whitefriar St. & that the bones of St Nicholas ( santa claus) were near by.
Enough about Grammar (er), whatever. enough about bones The only one required is just south of bellybutton. Same for relics If I said I was a saint Could I rub someone with my relic. C'mon people less talk more action (notes on a postit (along with naughty pic) should be attached to a rock and thrown thru our window and if you wait for a reply it would be greatly appreciated).
Valentine's Day started in the time of the Roman Empire. In ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honour Juno. Juno was the Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. The Romans also knew her as the Goddess of women and marriage. The following day, February 15th, began the Feast of Lupercalia. Bollix he is buried in Dublin, and if some eejit is , he pinched the idea from the Romans!!!!!!!! Bloody typical!!
Forum posts! Firstly because you can post, secondly you have an opinion! Some people need to remind themselves of that right, instead of thinking posts are directed at them! Rant over!

Does that mean mean you are open to a saintly visitation. Mind you the sight of me with my RELIC at the end of your bed might be considered more scary than saintly.
PS You can dress as a nun if it makes you feel more comfortable.
The below text is taken from the whitefriar street website
The Shrine to St Valentine is found on the right hand side of the church as one enters the main body of the church. The casket sits beneath the marble altar in a niche which is protected by an ornate iron and glass gate. Above the altar stands the life-sized statue of the saint set into a marble mosaic alcove. The saint is also barefoot. The casket is wooden and on top bears the papal coat of arms of Gregory XVI along with two large gold plates which have the letter of Cardinal Odescalchi inscribed in English upon them. Between these to plates and beneath the papal crest is a smaller plate with the inscription: This shrine contains the sacred body of Saint Valentinus the Martyr, together with a small vessel tinged with his blood.

Raven you can insult us. In fact we insist you do as it will give us an excuse to come around and spank you both (to start with)as punishment. In honesty have always found your posts fun and witty and in the case above informative (st valentine)
