I bought a new car recently and my mate said my choice of car was a reflection of my current position in life and mimicked my personality. So besides that being a well worded phrase for him with alcohol i thought about it and it probably does. So the question is do you have objects or possessions that if analysed reflect your personality, desires and wants (Really looking forward to the sex toy and smart arse replys) Keeping the Ding out of WedDing
Interesting topic Ding, I am a gadet addict, and electronic ones now not sex toys yee pervs........ I was told My Car did say a lot about me, its Big spacious and the ya certainly can have a lot of fun in it.:smoke:
Staying with the car theme, I have for many years subscribed to my own version of zen motoring - which is basically to buy the cheapest available second hand vehicle - irrespective of make, model, colour or any of the other things people usually consider when buying a car. I then drive said vehicle (without servicing or any mechanical checks) in the sure and certain knowledge that it will NOT break down and will get me where ever I want to go without issue. My faith in these clapped out cars has meant I have driven many many happy miles in cars that most folk wouldn't even move off the drive. What does this say about me......... errrrmmmmm....... 1. I have many annoying knocks and rattles which can effectively be ignored by turning the radio up louder. innocent 2. There is still mileage left in me. :haha: 3. I have some strange little faults which actually you quite get to like once you have put up with them for long enough. :taz: 4. I am somewhat rough around the edges but I have character. dunno Ahhh well who knows............. Jax
Jax, great reply. I have never owned a car in my whole life. Before we got married I drove a motorbike, then a scooter, and after we got married the cars we had were ours, not mine. Yes, I can drive and I do, but I prefer to cycle. I often cycle really long distances, preferring to do about 100km in a day whenever I have the time. My bicycle is a good one, but it's not built for speed or for rough terrain. It's a road bike meant for touring. What does that say about me? - I don't always take the easiest route, I prefer what's best for me, even if it's more difficult. - I love adventures, but they mustn't be too far off the beaten track. - The journey is more important to me than the destination. - I like going slowly and enjoying the ride. - I sometimes prefer the scenic route over the direct route. - I am reasonably fit :P Boo.
My red sofas:inlove::rose: I adore red lippy, and red underwear, so naturaly went for red sofas, I also wear a lot of red in winter and carry red handbags:love: I am a full time single mum, to the outside public I am a virtuous woman, god I just love wearing my red undies to school meetings:mrgreen:
