i wounder are we proud of what we do ,
It's not that we're not proud by not telling friends/families, it's just they wouldn't understand it, and have the perception that it's wrong. My wife has told her friends and they were totally cool with it, but wouldn't have said a word if we thought they wouldn't have open-minded views. But to answer your question, we're completely fine with what we do, and are not 1 bit ashamed of it either.

No I not ashamed of being a swinger, but I don't divulge my life style choice to family and friends, we still live in a society where perceptions of swinging has negative undertones, so I imagine my family and most of my friends would be pretty shocked to say the least..
Recently I did tell a long time friend that I was involved in swinging, he said that while he could accept my choice , he could never understand it and sadly resulted in the end of a very close freindship, but respect cuts both ways so I had to accept his feelings..

I Personally am completely comfortable with what I do and most that matter to me know what I do and thankfully They havent passed any judgment on it. I am not someone to pursue something I have second thoughts on.
We are not ashamed of what we do, but it is our private life and we like to keep it that way.......the only people we have to answer to is each other not our family and friends.
It may be the 21st century but in so many ways Ireland is still very backward and if you are different in any way you can be judged very harshly....and no one has the right to judge us anymore.

No I am not ashamed of it at all because so far we are the best people I have met. I would be more ashamed to be a golfer pissing around all day on a golf course and neglecting family and responsibilities at home. Sorry nothing against part time golfers but the ones who spend every free minute on the course while kids at home and don't get to know them .... yet that seems more acceptable hah!!!!(maybe that is a rant?)
I am certainly not ashamed of my lifestyle but I do keep it very private.............it can get bad enough when some folk find out my beleifs and if they found out about this side of me welllll lets just say there would be one hell of a big bonfire lol lol :fury:
