After having a few meets I just wanted to know : how did you break the ice and get over the first 10 (awkward) minutes !!
I dread that part of a meet the awkward silence, I have found lately that I seem to babble on bout everything and anything. But the conversation must be flowing both ways and not left for just one side of the party to keep going.
Good Post OP.
I like to try and have a decent rapport built up with someone before I meet, that way you can fall in on a previous conversation and have a laugh and a joke to ease the tension. It can be daunting despite having spoken by phone or on-line for a bit, but just relaxing and not thinking about it too much helps.
lol personnaly I prefer to just get naked and take a shower !!!!!!
well sitting and having a chat and a drink works for me kind of creates a more relaxed atmosphere..........but yeah your welcome to jump in the shower there stimulator lol lol lol lol xxxxxx anny
Well we found that chatting on line was our first contact, after a while we were invited to a social outing, where there were a good few people, who we had chatted to on line, and arranged to meet them in bar of hotel where we hit it off straight away,
for us it was the social outings where we made friends, and have taken it from there.
I find a little vodka with the ice is good. As others suggested ... chat on line ... meet them in a bar ... the social outings where u met online friends, and taken it from there.
Just jump on them the second the door is closed:evil2:
why wait for the door to close ..hehe
Git dont want the neighbours trying to join in lol
and before you say it..you would need a strong stomach to even think of going there with our neighbours lol
I have been told there not many long silences when i'm around...
It's getting me to shut up that's the problem.....
Good thread.

Having met a few people, I can honestly say that humour is the best way to break the ackward ice. From talking to them online you should already have an idea of what they find funny. I got a great kick out of 'do you come here often?' once. Not very orginal I know, but it mellowed the mood somewhat.
:thrilled: another swing site?????????????????? surely to gawd everyone knows that this site is the only one to be on .....
And knowing our luck the neighbours are on this site:haha:
I find a mallet usually helps break the ice or if I am feeling particularly violent a chain saw.
I make it really easy for them to move in for a snog or I just go for it.,
Always a heart thumping moment..
Snog ???? anyone would think this was a swingers site.
If we are talking snogging nookie etc I would go with *removed* always works for me. No sillies not for her for me. I can never remember if i did or if i didnt.
Laying it on the table ;)
