The news these days is never good and if reports are to be believed 17% of us will find ourselves out of work, others will be on short time and all of us on short money thanks to the government levies.
Perhaps thru this site and with the agreement of the admministrators & moderators it might be possible to start a classified ads section listing work needing to be done & people available to do work.
I am are sure many and varied skills are available among the members, ie building, IT, sectetarial, business administration Of course the problem is that some will be in a position to pay for work done & others will have to rely on the Irish Meithel (barter ) system ie swapping your time/skills for work done. However in the current climate help and assistance of friends/neighbours may be the only way some of us may survive the bleek economic outlook. This scheme if it takes off should not be confused as a form of "meet and greet" or way to sus out people, this should be seen as a genuine attempt to find work for those available to work. It would be unfortunate and a poor reflection if people abused the site to take advantage of those that currently find themselves in un fortunate financial circumstances.

forgot to mention that I am one of those fortunate enough to be still working, however over the next few months I hope to get garden walls built, a garage re-roofed, some landscaping done, and some painting & decorating.
I will be making sure that my money is spent on tradesmen in my locality or that have been recommended to me as being good reliable workers. I am not (repeat not)looking for charity or extremely low hourly rates for work. However there are many out there that will need repairs and maintenance carried out on their houses, on occassion require specialist skills in their business or work place, I think anyone seeking work would appreciate any lead they can get

In an ideal world mate, but in reality,,,, a none runner. This is a swinging site not a recruitment site. Individuals can swap services in whispers ie (window cleaning,,, building services ) If the sites allows the personal adds type section I for one feel it will only draw attention and will deem the site to be reputed as a SEX site, which is not the case.

However, I was thinking more along the lines of services that can be provided which would be in line with swinging. What I'm trying to say is, I think this idea has merit in the context of swinging. I believe ideally you should be able to list your service on your profile. Perhaps those of us with a swinger-related skill could just add "SERVICE: photographer" or something like that at the end of the profile description. Alternatively perhaps a forum where people can post threads listing their skills?

BullandBoo might have a good idea in that the services available could be offered to people in the scene & not vanillas ... I am sure there are many would like to have professionally taken pictures ... otheres may like help in building a website ... and toys door to door are much more interesting than the "avon lady" although I think marieandu4121 is hoping to conquer the toys home sales market. An option in the profiles to indicate a service you can offer may be the solution to not having actual classified ads on the site.
