havta take into consideration that,along with all the bullshitters and time -wasters,there are a few genuine 1s like maself,who wants to put pics up!!!
They should be added to a FAQ, a simpler way of doing it is:
Control Panel -> Folder Options, in there there'll be an checked box saying something like this: "Hide known file types", uncheck this. Thats the hard part over, its set for good unless you change it back.
A little bit about file types, for "jpegs" there are 4 different types, but they all reference the same file type: .jpeg, .jpg, .JPEG, .JPG, and while this won't generally make a difference on your PC, some web servers are very particular about this stuff...
Now, as you have unchecked you're "Hide known file types" when you click on a file, you will be able to see what it is, say its , and I can't remember what this site accepts, but say it will only accept .JPEG, give your mouse some chees and then right-click on the file and clear off the jpg bit and replace it with JPEG this will change it to the accepted type, without damaging the picture.
To the person, who said that having a pic or 3 on your profile will get you more interested mail, it doesn't, I haven't recieved any!!! Grr!!! lol

1) Then you'd have about 300 guys, and a handful of couples.
2) The one couple we're actually met from this site had and still have no picture.
Good points raised Justus. Whatever about pictures on profiles there are definitely a lot of profiles on here that are no longer active and it is a watse of time (on an already slow site) trying to find genuine people.
As for your comment to try "sell yourself more". It's difficult to write an e-mail to a total stranger and know what context they are going to take it in, if you say you would like to meet for a chat & take it from there you might seem unsure and possibly a timewaster, when in fact you are trying to say that you are willing to meet with no expectations of it going any further.
Send a message with too much information and you are likely to come across as arrogant and possibly a bullshitter or someone who just wants to talk about it and not actually do anything.
Another annoying feature (or lack of) here is not being able to keep track of people you have sent messages to. I have sent a lot of messages here, most of them being completely ignored, and so I find myself reading an profile that I like and wondering "have I contacted them already & if I have & send another 1 will they think I'm pushy ?"
